PROS: Google Slides is similar to Powerpoint, but the good thing about it is that it has single central location where you along with your team can work on one copy of the presentation, or you can work on a slideshow while others are watching you. Also, the other good thing about is the fact that is accessible from anywhere as long as you log in into your google account from any computer or device.
CONS: The platform needs some improvements. The option to embed a YouTube video into slide is great but it work only while you are online in case you don’t have internet the videos get tricky.
PROS: I like that I can pull up slides easily with Google Slide regardless of the operating system I am using, as long as I have internet connection. I also like the ability to share the slides with people and the option of allowing them to edit or simply view. No need for me to write emails and adding attachments to see the files. In fact, if the person is already in your contacts list, it would take no more than 5 clicks for them to have access.
CONS: One of its drawbacks is the lack of background designs. And it isn't clear how one can find additional professional looking slide backgrounds.Another disadvantage is that you aren't able to use the presenter tools with ease. For example, if you are pulling up the slides from the computer that is also being used to project the presentation, ites does not alter the view of presentation for the presenter vs. the audience.
PROS: Google Slides is a great free alternative to other paid programs. It allows users to collaborate with coworkers in other locations and offices to create a presentation online and is updated in real time. It provides a very simplistic and easy to use interface that just about anyone can use it and get to learn to use quickly. Everything is saved automatically and is uploaded to google drive, so users never have to worry about forgetting or losing a presentation.
CONS: The interface may be overly simplistic. It does not offer quite as many features as what Microsoft Powerpoint offers.
PROS: I like that I can share presentations with others, we can work with our team from various locations. The changes are in real time and we don’t have to deal with lot of copies around. It offers lot of features, options and themes. You can keep the presentation on Google Slides or you can download them.
CONS: Sometimes it can be hard to find some options and there are some limited options compared to similar software. All in all, the product is wonderful.
PROS: Google Slides stands out for us for a variety of reasons. It lets us collaborate and present anytime, anywhere, on any device whether you are accessing it through a computer, a smartphone, or a tablet. So you can review and edit slides even if you're on the go. It is also a capable tool; the templates and fonts that it offers can make even the most simple presentation stand out. Product support from Google has also been superb.
CONS: Sometimes we experience these weird latency issues between the time we type and for another to see the output on their machine. It has also been a challenge for us getting used to the sharing system, although we have come to get used to it after using the system at least a couple of times. Also, some slides feel a bit too common and the feeling of variety or uniquesness gets lost, though there is an option to import templates that may fit one's preferences.
Love that I can work with my colleague simultaneously on the presentation and they can see the immediate changes I am making
Lacking some features that powerpoint has. Would like a few additional transitions or designs.
I like Google Slides better than powerpoint again because i have it anywhere I go as long as I have wifi. It saves automatically so that is always helpful and you can always undo if you dont like what you saved.
It is available on my google account all the time. It allows me to edit and review anywhere. Love that about google slides
I love being able to access my decks and share them from anywhere!
There's literally nothing I dislike about Slides. It's so easy to use! I guess if I HAD to name something, I'd ask for a wider variety of templates.
I'd totally recommend Google Slides! It's easy to use, looks super professional, and is simple to share with my team or external viewers!
I teach regular in-house workshops using Slides, which helps our Marketing team provide external teams with better knowledge of how our Marketing impacts the company as a whole—and IS impacted by the work done by other teams.
I love the ability to work on a slide while another person is working on it or another slide from the same presentation.
I don’t like how I can’t draw in slides as I could have done with microsoft power point. Power point had lots of things to do but I do think google slides is a lot more simpler then power point.
There is no clean or simple way to send a person my presentation. I can send it through email but I wish there was a simpler way.
I like how easy this product is to use! It’s layout is super easy and makes it easy to find things. The app makes it really easy to make a slide show right from the center of the app! There is many options of things to add to your slide and they make it you can see it very easily
I don’t find anything wrong with the concept of the program although there are certain sometimes (very rarely though) that there are sometimes where it is hard to find certain places to add the slides. I also find it hard sometimes to type things into a text box!! I wish their was more ways to add your own slide design instead of using the choices from them!!
Compare to other products first see what they rate before settling on a product! It’s not good to settle before deciding
I think from what I have seen their isn’t any issues. I wish that their was a way to preview the slides more easily. Google seems to have a way to make things more cheaper than some other products! We have also used a lot of other google products and seem to trust google

PROS: Google slide is wonderful for various classroom activities, I like that the information can be accessed by multiple people at the same time. My students like the group note feature because they can take notes and make the notes accessible to everyone. Also, this platform can be used for creating interactive presentations.
CONS: We have issues when it comes to deleting files, because everyone can delete others’ files. The team behind this paltform can add lock feature so everyone can protect files from deleting.
