Limited Offline Functionality, Limited Advanced Features compared to Excel, Occasional Performance Issues with large datasets, Mobile App limitations
Google Sheets is applauded for its user-friendly interface, seamless integration with other Google products, and extensive collaboration features. Its spreadsheet capabilities, including formula support, data manipulation tools, and conditional formatting, are highly praised by users. Additionally, its accessibility across multiple devices and platforms makes it a popular choice for teams seeking real-time collaboration and data sharing. However, some users have expressed concerns about the limited customization options, the occasional occurrence of glitches or bugs, and the need for better offline capabilities.

I love how you can share and actively use sheets with as many people as you like. It is a great real-time excel sheet! You can see all the edits and it's super user friendly. It is also with you everywhere! There's an app, it's super user friendly! I love everything about it. There is nothing more you can do to make it better other than adding how-to videos.
There is nothing I dislike. I love google sheets! I honestly have dislikes.
Honestly only adding how-to videos if that was possible. Teaching us features, especially people with google suite account that they pay for. That is all I really think of, this program is amazing.
I just am able to keep everything online or offline always and that is so essential to me. Storage-wise of course but all my stuff is accessible always! I can use it with all my jobs and they all use it which is great because it's what I prefer to use. It is a great program and I am so happy google has done all of this stuff with Microsoft applications.
I absolutely love Google Sheets! The first thing that I love about it is the fact that it always saves my work as I am going. If my computer happens to shut down, I do not lose my work. I also love that I can sort my data very easily.
There is nothing to dislike about Google Sheets!
This program is super user friendly!
I am able to use data analysis in my classroom very easily!
the ease of editing and the fact they are all in one spot dont have to search my computer for them
better instructions on how to edit them.
just use them they are easy complete I dont know what could be easier
they store responses I can copy-paste for my clients on my calls
Real time sheet updates for multiple remote teams to work together
Sharing + Commenting features
Similar functions to excel but more user-friendly
Lacks a few functions that microsoft excel offers, can't access or edit without wifi
Leverage for larger teams and Google sheets will improve your productivity and help keep your projects on track and organized
Tracking large amounts of URLs, exporting data for multiple teams to access
I like that I can open sheet documents without having to download excel to my mobile device.
There really is not anything that I dislike about google sheets. No issues
I don't have any problems with google sheets it is very beneficial when I'm not in the office and need to look at spread sheets from the office
I use Google Sheets for everything. I create sheets to keep track of all kinds of projects. I use this more for my personal life than even for work. Any type of list, setting up equations to make my life easier by calculating the same processes multiple times. Very easy to share with others and take with you in the go. The mobile device only has a few things it can not do that the desktop version gives you control over.
Nothing really. It is something I use on a daily basis.
Once you make the move to Google Sheets you will soon adopt the G Suite family. Having access to all of your documents anywhere just by logging into your Google account it makes it so much easier. Having the ability to pull up a sheet when out running errands or to send access to a team member on the fly is a huge benefit. I have been more than satisfied with the ease of use and functionality of this platform making small jobs a breeze.
I use Google Sheets to keep track of things I am trying to sell, animal weights, planned revenue growth, and much more. A new project to renovate the front porch? Great, I'll make a sheet and keep track of the costs and plan for everything that is needed. Really have not found anything I would rather use than Google Sheets.
Love having access to my sheets on any device. Makes it easy for sharing with teams, with edit controls. Brilliant!
Some of the common functions like sorting is buried in the data menu. Inserting copied rows/columns is not possible. You have to insert a row, then copy and paste data to that row.
Managing and sharing a variety of tasks, such as budgeting, sales tracking, managing cash flow, creating lists for everything from prospects to conference registrants.
I like the ability to use and manipulate data. I like the facts that I can search using ctrl F a mass amount of data. We can implement more data and information as a whole org, all at once, or individually.
That everyone can see when you are on and using. I do not like how it can eliminate competitive advantages by highlighting to other people what you are doing
its the bomb
The ability to use excel without excel. Excel used to be a big time problem growing up if the person working did not have it you could halt an entire project. Now it is as easy as having a computer and internet connection
I love how easy it is to work side-by-side with teammates at a distance (so important right now) in capturing and manipulating data and information. Sharing this information in a clearly editable format is so intuitive and easy to learn/train.
Like most Google applications, the mobile apps lack a great deal of the online function. I move around a lot to do training, so I would love it if the iOS mobile apps were more functional.
Try the consumer version then take your trial of Google for Work.
We primarily use Excel for spreadsheets. Up until the last couple of years, Microsoft has been rather lacking in collaborative abilities for their spreadsheets. Now, they are playing catch up with Google for these functions. We needed this ability to share and live edit spreadsheets. As I stated, Sheets has allowed us to share spreadsheets of data and manipulate it live between departments.
