There is nothing much to say about the lag or disadvantage of using the Google Cloud Audit logs. However, the cost of the service may not be suitable for all. Apart from this, it is highly recommended per the requisition.

The thing I like the most is that you can be very transparent with them in all areas, and you can know how the team is manipulating the data on the cloud.

I dont like that sometimes you have to do extra work to maintain the audit logs, but I know that's for the benefit of keeping a better structure and more accurate data.

I am using Google Cloud Audit Logs for monitoring administration activities and managing the audit logs. It's helping me to keep a track of activities inside the organization.

The most important feature is the broad of GCP services it works.

There's nothing I don't like about it. I can't see any improvement.

Because it's free, there's no reason for not using it.

The most helpful thing about Google Cloud Audit Logs is that it helps identify the owner of certain activity like creation or updating of a bigquery table or even the data access of a certain vertex machine learning model.

It's difficult to narrow down the filters to a certain service and identify the activity among all the available logs. Would be a lot easier, if there were different log apis to uniquely identify logs for each service.

Google Cloud Audit Logs is helping us identify the owner of a certain activity in the entire Google Cloud Platform. It also helps us debug any issues occuring throughtout the GCP services.
