The best thing about GoLinks is how easy it is to organize all.tout links and those of your organization in one place, and then share those links when needed.

There is a bit of a learning ingredient curve at the beginning.

I haven't noticed any downside so far after 2 years of usage.

It basically shortens the URLs/links in a way that is easy to remember and easy to share with others.

Thought it is easy to write down a short go link, sometimes we want to get a golink for the current webpage. There is no easy way for conversion.

We have tons of documents that folks spend much time searching for. Instead of running multiple queries in our wikis or digging through previous conversations, we can create quick short links that take us exactly where we need to go.

Not much negative to say, it is a simple tool that does its job very well! Maybe being able to access it through an external VPN?

Collaboration and shared resource management.

I use GoLinks to get to lots of work-related spaces that I need to frequently access. When I'm out of office, I like to create a page with all of my out of office details and then set the GoLink URL to 'go/[my name]-ooo' and put it in my Slack name/status so that my coworkers know where to go/who to contact while I'm out. That's just one of many use cases for Go Links!

There are no downsides that I've come across just yet.

GoLinks makes accessing internal work resources easier. We set intuitive GoLink URLs to access the frequently visited pages and/or useful resources.

I also use it to house all of my out of office details on a single page for my coworkers to access while I'm out (set the URL to go/[my name]-ooo and drop it in my Slack name/status so my coworkers can easily access my coverage details while I'm out).

Whenever i need something, i simply write "go/<whatever>" and someone already defined the actual link to it.

I would like to get suggestions when there are no link attached (ex, when i write something in prulural instead of single)

instead of remembering full address, i just need to write 1 word.

GoLinks makes it easy for your teams to share information. I used GoLinks heavily at Databricks as well as subsequent companies. I've gotten so used to using go/whatever that I even program my browser to go to specific websites when I type in go/website or anything like that at home.

It costs money so you can't really leverage it as an individual. It's only worth it if you're using it as a team. I also wish there was an easy way to make private go/links for my own consumption rather than sharing it out to the whole business.

I can easily see what websites are important for people in my organization and team.
