While Goldcast offers a ton of depth within the product, it doesn't feel cumbersome. It's easy to get an event stood up, offers intuitive UI /UX for the attendees & organziers, and provides an insane amount of data to help fine tune your events to ensure you're producing the best product possible.
Moreover, the team is fantastic. One of my favorite things they do is send an email to the organizer a couple of days prior to an event with a "punch list" of potentially outstanding items that need to be addressed before the start of the event. It's a really nice touch that helps organizers stay on top of all the moving parts.
On top of that, the support staff is super responsive and always helps &/or escalates a problem asap.
To be honest, there really isn't anything in particular I don't like. Generally, whenever an issue pops up or we have a specific feature request, their team jumps on it and helps us figure something out.
Goldcast helps us create easy to launch webinars & virtual / hybrid events. With both virtual events & webinars, we're able to make every aspect of the experience on brand and control virtually every aspect of each. In the past, I've used multiple platforms for Webinars, In-person events, and virtual events - and while there might be some benefits to do so, I found that trying to leverage the data in a meaningful way post event from disparate systems is extremely laborious. Goldcast makes this all very easy and not only offers cross event analytics, but will sync all of this to Marketo / SFDC.
Low lift and intuitive to create event marketing programs, whether they're live or pre-recorded. Excellent analytics.
Nothing to note. I've used them for a virtual capacity and they fulfilled all my needs.
Marketing analytics for events made easy. Very easy to create events and event series via duplication.
Goldcast customer support can't be beat. I have experience with two of their top competitors. Neither competitor came close to Goldcast's level of customer support from onboarding to Goldcast to day-of-event support. Overall, we were very happy with the customization capabilities of the platform. The platform features that were key for us were auto redirections, accessibility features like CCs and subtitles, and ease of use.
As an event organizer, there's not much to dislike about this platform. With any product requests that could come to mind, they were already well-underway on Goldcast's product roadmap (which they openly share!) They're rolling out hybrid features which is especially exciting for us as we go back to in-person but won't leave virtual.
Everyone knows that there are engagement "wow" factors that just can't be replicated virtually. Of all the tools we surveyed back in 2020 when we realized we'd need a virtual tool, Goldcast comes the closest at creating a fun experience online. We also love that the Goldcast team is open to our ideas about product advancement as we all begin to navigate the hybrid world.
So simple to use, yet so engaging. The best B2B events I've ever been to have been hosted on Goldcast.
Literally nothing. This product serves every possible need I could have with a webinar. Really helps engage attendees as well.
Goldcast helps me host and attend B2B webinars
The most helpful thing about Goldcast is that it's great for customizing and live streaming virtual events and webinars very easily. It has simulative broadcasting benefits and is very easy to use. I really like the nice UI.
I haven't found anything bad to comment on yet. It has always been helpful for me. There are no downsides to this platform. However, the event integration feels a bit lopsided to me at times, and it would be nice to be able to template the events.
This platform has helped me a lot in conducting events with clients and team members in various business functions of my company. I can supply everything as per my requirements from here. This platform was very helpful in making the live stream more interesting. Using this has saved me a lot of time.
Goldcast is easy to use and customize for whatever webinar/virtual event you host.
I particularly love the backstage area that lets our speakers convene and test their microphones before they hop on stage. I also love being able to customize how the attendees engage with our speakers.
Because Goldcast provides abundant setting options, it can get confusing trying to set up your webinar/virtual event. There is a bit of a learning curve, and sometimes it will be helpful to get a quick tips or refresh video.
We were looking for a robust virtual event platform that could host webinars (live and pre-recorded). Goldcast was able to provide exactly what we needed and more!
We're able to customize each virtual event to our liking - including the email notifications and look/feel of the event.
This platform is much easier to use than other platforms, so I like it a lot. This platform is improving day by day by updating its features, and this platform has many roles to manage all phases of events. Any kind of problem I can solve through live chat with the help of this platform
I haven't had any issues with Goldcast yet. But it would have been better if some minor issues were resolved. Salesforce integration should avoid being one-way, and the ability to template events would be better.
I am benefiting a lot from this platform. This platform has many roles to play in making virtual events successful. It is a relatively simple development platform for weapons and audiences, reducing my time.
The integration was very easy to set up with Marketo, their support team is extremely helpful and willing to solve problems that come up. The user interface is also great, and we have received better feedback from webinar registrants using GC than when using previous competitors.
There isn't much to dislike with GC. One improvement they could make would be a native launchpoint integration with Marketo, but even without it the integration & data transfer is smooth and never causes many issues.
Our previous webinar platform had many issues when it came to running large scale webinars, many outages, and a lot of data transfer issues. It was also hard to use from both a speaker POV and attendee POV. Seemed outdated from a UX perspective.
Everything is plug n play. I know the 10ish pieces of information, creative assets, and copy that I need to run an event through Goldcast. As a small team, we're able to run virtual events on a regular basis with minimal time investment, because we know exactly what we need to do and can do it quickly.
When you duplicate events (best way to do it), just make sure you have a personal checklist of everything that you need to change, so that you don't accidentally leave in anything from the old event
As a small team, Goldcast is making it a low investment for us to run virtual events as a strategy to generate awareness with our target audience. Personally, I had 0 experience running events and can do it in a turnkey way.

Our team has been using Goldcast for 2 years now for our developer events. Very happy with the experience both from a user and attendee standpoint. The post event feedback from our developers has been very positive and our community across the globe likes the translations/captioning/accessibility features that Goldcast has to offer. But their recent launch on AI content lab has really stepped up our post event content generation - the process usually takes 3-4 weeks, now it takes less than an hour to create social clips and post event takeaways for our social and content teams
Goldcast is rapidly innovating and has been a big upgrade from our previous experience. Nothing so far.
