What do you like best about GlobalLink?

The GlobalLink Team make the entire translation process very easy by outlining the steps that need to happen. They held periodic calls with our team and walked us through each step of the way, ensuring we were happy the deliverables. Looking forward to using GlobalLink again!

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

No complaints, working with Global Link was great!

"All around great TMS"
What do you like best about GlobalLink?

Data reporting in Tablaeu is great, instantly seeing the word count and TM leverage of a submission is amazing, and the best part is the in context reviewing of translations.

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

User roles and permissions are overly complicated. This leads to an extended amount of time to learn how to manage your submissions.

It takes longer than expected to build the requirements into the workflows.

What problems is GlobalLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

More and more organizations at my company are beginning to use GlobalLink. This is allowing all of us to benefit from the same TM files and decrease costs.

What do you like best about GlobalLink?

This is my third time attending GL Next. Outstanding experience! Well organized, interesting content, fabulous venue, but above all, the TransPerfect people! Everyone is so welcoming, so friendly, so knowledgeable of their products, and so open to listen and find ways to help with your specific needs.

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

Can't think of anything. Coming to the conference has been a great experience.

What problems is GlobalLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have a complex set of translations needs, and TransPerfect has been a great partner in developing a customized solutions stack to respond to them.

What do you like best about GlobalLink?

The opportunity to network with colleagues from different fields and share ideas and experiences. I was able to get ideas to improve the processes at my own company. I also made connections that I can reach out to for brainstorming and discussing best practices in my field.

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

The time between sessions was sometimes a bit short - one session on the second day ended at 12pm and the next session started at 12pm.

Some of the microphones provided muffled sound, which made it difficult to follow precisely.

What problems is GlobalLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

GlobalLink is offering effecient and tailored localisation experiences and other language solutions to companies. As of now I am not yet using GlobalLink but my team and I are discussing this opportunity.

Also note that this review asks questions related to usage of the product but only asks at the end if the reviewer uses it. The couple of questions that follow and are required should not be taken into account, as I do yet use GlobalLink.

What do you like best about GlobalLink?

Easily contactable representatives who go out of their way to ensure the experience is as seamless as possible. Good pricing. Every job is done to a high standard in a professional manner from start to finish.

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

Just not as well known at the firm, so other fee earners often opt for other companies.

What problems is GlobalLink solving and how is that benefiting you?

Only used translation services but this in itself resolves many issues we face in practice at an international firm where fee earners do not speak the language or require formal certification of a translation.

What do you like best about GlobalLink?

The Support Team and account managers are great to work with! They are responsive and knowledgeable. I feel as if they are my extended team members. In addition, we started using Project Director a couple of years ago, which has significantly improved my company's translation services process.

What do you dislike about GlobalLink?

Project Director isn't the most user-friendly for our one-off customers. We have tried user guides and hands-on instructions but notice it is still difficult for them to navigate a platform that they don't use frequently. This creates more manual work for my team.

GlobalLink has helped my team become more organized, reduce costs for our customers, and made the overall process less manual.
