Live Chat bot (like Emma), and the solution that Gist provides appears to be the perfect fit so far :-) A great CRM solution for Solopreneurs
What do you like best about Gist?
I've found Gist to be a very intuitive software to set up. It integrates well with my existing SOP and the support through both Knowledgebase and WebChat has been efficient and fast.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Recommendations to others considering Gist?
I'm still learning how to master the software, but each day it is adding value.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
When using the CRM, the messages can be saved inbound messages are saved in my Outlook system too. However, I don't think Outbound messages are able to appear in the Outlook 'Sent' folder.

What do you like best about Gist?
It is simple to understand; especially through the help articles provided! The Suppor Team is helpful as well.
What do you dislike about Gist?
I am not a veteran user of Gist, but so far my challenges are:

1. Understanding errors when importing (there's not enough details on these errors)
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
2. Upgrading the subscription and contacts (Had to reach out to Support to upgrade from Professional All-In-One for 1k to Premium AIO for 5k; unable to do from the settings)

Great alternative to Intercom
What do you like best about Gist?
We were paying a high price for some functionalities of Intercom and we changed to Gist because covers all our needs. Furthermore, the team is fast including new functionalities and requests. We primarily use it for support and engagement emails, but it has other nice functionalities such as surveys, knowledge base or meeting scheduler. I totally recommend it.
What do you dislike about Gist?
We have encountered some bugs but the team at Gist is fast solving them. Also, it would be nice to have better reports (more customization) and more functionalities related to events (use properties from Segment events) which is vital for us even though the basic functionality with events is covered.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is our tool for customer relationship management: Support, Email marketing, Knowledge Base, Surveys.

A Powerful Swiss-Army Knife!
What do you like best about Gist?
I love the fact that it has many useful marketing tools that are easy to setup and deploy. It isn't clunky as you would expect with such an array of tools
What do you dislike about Gist?
There are no downsides that I see at the moment. The tutorials are there to help guide you through each and every feature.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having an app for their live chat is a big plus! I also like their comprehensive CRM that allows you to store amazing amounts of data - even custom data.

Before GistApp, communication within our team was scattered across various channels, leading to missed messages and disjointed discussions. Switching between multiple tools for different tasks disrupted our workflow and hindered productivity. Managing customer interactions and providing timely responses was challenging without an integrated solution.

Gist - a powerhouse app for chat and customer relationships
What do you like best about Gist?
I really love how easy it is to add chat to my site and other sites. The knowledge base is a major plus. They just launched drip campaigns. My customers are now engaging constantly with me and getting the info they need. I can immediately get a notification in my phone and chat with customers on a mobile app. Now with automations, merge tags, filters, etc I can always see where my customers lie. It’s fantastic!
What do you dislike about Gist?
The mobile app needs serious attention. It's pretty poor. When you get notified about a chat, you can click on the notification to open the app. Then you type your response to the customer/client … click enter to send … and it says it sends and then clears your entire response. So, you have to force quit the app, open it up and find the message you want to reply to … to be able to chat with the customer / client. That's it. There's only the option to chat or close the conversation. So, if you need to use a mobile app for chat, Gist is not your app. Beyond that, there aren’t too many downsides to this application. I wouldn’t say that developers are fairly quick at implementing new teachers and I really enjoy the use of this app. I do wish deliverability % was slightly higher, but that’s just a matter of time.

All In One Sales Management Platform - Everything to get started
What do you like best about Gist?
Gist has been essential to allow us to build processes, categorize leads, and manage interactions with our clients. We started to implement it as we wanted a good overall solution for the platform and kept using it for the last two years for the business. The leads trackers is super basic, but that simplicity worked for us to track the different lanes and statues of our clients and their projects. The chat bot was by far the most affordable option for us, and allowed our customers to simply reach out anytime they had a question.
What do you dislike about Gist?

We did have a few questions for them a few times, and their customer support was a bit slow due to timezones, but they were always able to get to the bottom of the issue.
What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gist's platform has become a bit bloated making it hard to find certain options until you get familiar with how it works. Most of the settings are intuitive, but there are many times when you think a setting should be in one place, and it is in a submenu somewhere else. Not too bad once you get used to it, but after using it for a while, you do get a feel for how it is organized.

What do you like best about Gist?
Gist brings together all the pieces to create a marketing automation funnel, customer support and CRM for businesses that sell their products or services.
What do you dislike about Gist?
Not much to dislike here. My minor gripe would be the UI of the calendar for scheduling meetings. But that is probably just personal preference.

Gist allows business owners to access features for a fraction of the price charged by competitors like Salesforce & Hubspot.

Great platform, highly recommended!
What do you like best about Gist?
Great platform, the Ai "Emma" bot is a great new feature, the knowledge base is one of the top options in terms of designs & capabilities, if not the best! Highly recommend it for any startup or business!
What do you dislike about Gist?
Probably the inbox feature could be improved more. but it's still a nice alternative to many many other softwares, so maybe few other tweaks or improvement could make it the best platform for support teams. but over all still great
