Ease of use and support. GatherUp has set the bar high for other companies to follow. After you sign up, you get a dedicated support person who walks you through the entire process step by step, in dedicated video sessions to show you how it works and to answer any questions. It has a lot of bells and whistles so it's good to have this support, but it's also very easy to use once you know the basics.
There isn't anything to dislike. There are a few features still missing that I am looking forward to in the next upgrade, like being able to combine locations for an aggregate review widget when using the tag manager for selective display. But this is a very minor detail in an otherwise great product.
We have several services and locations. One struggled with negative reviews, and other with not enough reviews at all. The concept of GatherUp is brilliant - ask for feedback and then encourage positive responders with repeated (but not spammy) reminders to leave public reviews. It was worked well - we are getting so much more feedback than before, most of it positive, and the negative feedback we've gotten has really helped us to pinpoint flaws in our services that we were able to improve. And it has helped with SEO using the widgets to display up-to-date feedback on our website.
I love being able to tag reviews so they can be segmented for display on our websites. Whether it's a service or an individual, I can filter them for display in addition to sharing them on social media for added value. Their support is also a wonderful asset. Anytime we have a question they immediately reply and help in any way possible. I highly recommend GatherUp for your reputation management needs.
Customizations can be limited, but overall this is outweighed by their excellent product.
We are solving our clients' issue of getting new reviews and displaying the most recent reviews on their website. An added benefit is that GatherUp already assists in adding schema to the reviews' output when embedded on their site.
It's a one-stop shop for everything review-related! Not only can we invite our clients to review us straight from the platform, but we can also respond to all reviews on the GatherUp account manager rather than logging into Google, Facebook, etc. It's been helpful to have the opportunity to see all reviews on one dashboard: office managers can ensure that each review has a response. Lastly, I can manage several businesses on one account which makes my life easier.
I really like the platform! I just wish that we could publish some of the reviews we receive directly on GatherUp to google or facebook. I know that isn't possible but would be great!
It's been helpful to ensure that offices are responding to reviews. Also, we are getting better feedback from our clients/caregivers when it is through a third party such as GatherUp.
Easy to use and deploy with great results. The software is easy to use for our store locations with very little training and is very intuitive. Not only has it helped to see what we're doing right as a business but where we can improve. Their customer support has always been there to resolve any problems, which are very infrequent, quickly.

The product, price and service has been excellent. Over the years I have received nothing but quality from this product, if you have a single business or many businesses this is the perfect solution for customer feedback from both 1st party reviews and growing your online review presence. Besides the obvious benefit of getting feedback from your customers it is a vital part of SEO and growing your business presence online.

I have been using their service since 2014 and as our company has grown so have they. GatherUp continues to improve their platform and adapt to changes while providing support for customer success.
Love the functionality that allows review requests to automatically be sent to customers based on predefined triggers.
The review display widgets for use on your company website are a bit dated. Really would love some more modern design options for those.
I can recommend GatherUp as an efficient way of managing your business reputation. If properly implemented, it can become a real review engine and help you collect great feedback while you do the important work of giving your customers a great experience.
My business is very busy, and GatherUp allows me to pursue the very important customer reviews without having to spend a lot of extra time and energy on manual management.
I like the GatherUp platform, but what I may like best is the customer service team. They are super easy to work with and always quick to help if needed. Thankfully, the platform is easy to use so I have not needed them often, but when I do, they take great care of me.
There is not much that I do not like. The things that I was not initially satisfied with turned out to be my fault (not changing messaging options used on the forms and the like).

GatherUp is an extremely useful SEO tool that I would highly recommend. Their reputation management services have become a staple for our business. Our clients love the portal and the ability to manage their reviews from one spot. Customer service is also incredibly stellar - very quick to respond, very educational, professional, and friendly. They're never too busy to take time out for a quick consult call to educate you on what you're having issues with. The interface is pretty user friendly and intuitive, which is great for some of our older clients who still want to be in touch with the world of today's internet.
I can't say there's really anything I dislike - any time I've had an issue with anything related to GatherUp, their customer service is very quick to respond and help out, and often teach me additional tips.

Having reputation management all in one space is a huge problem solver, and the benefits associated with that are definitely client satisfaction. Makes it much easier for clients to interact with and be aware of their reviews.
Out of every software company we have dealt with, these guys are by far at the top! They address issues in a crazy short time and are always eager to get questions and concerns dealt with ASAP. Never had an issue they weren’t able to solve. Super responsive!
The tool set up takes a little longer than we hope but not sure there is a better way out there

Excellent customer service, flawless platform. During onboarding they were with us every step of the way and helping navigate integrations. We have weekly and monthly check-ins with our GatherUp representative and their customer service has been top notch. The platform has never dissapointed and they continue to make new updates with helpful features.
They do not currently integrate with Yelp.
During Covid, we were debating as a company to enforce masks in all locations or not. We created a custom tag for reviews to track guest sentiment about masks in our locations, and found a less-than-average NPS score which influenced our decision to implement masks.
