What is most helpful about GAT Labs is their commitment to customer support and offering ongoing training. They are the only vendor I'm familiar with that reaches out with offers of training sessions or support, and it's only my limited time that prevents me from taking them up on the offers. Implementation was quick and straightforward, routine queries can be built and stored to make it easy to repeat commonly used searches or operations. The system has a wealth of features for educational admins like me, who have to multi-task to cover IT and other responsibilities. If I had to rank my IT utilities and monitoring systems, I would put GAT at the top of the list in terms of usefulness, efficiency, and value for both time and money.

It might seem like having the world headquarters in Dublin might be an issue for support in North America, but this has never been the case in my experience. I've always been able to get help when reaching out and have never had to wait for the right time zone to roll around into work hours. The one frustration I have is that I'm unable to find time to work with their agents on proactive product knowledge. Fortunately their documentation is well organized and readily understandable for users regardless of their previous experience.

The Google Workspace Admin Console is a sprawling, not terribly well organized set of tools which require both efficient search techniques and patience and persistence to navigate, particularly as features are added and tacked onto the console in unpredictable and sometimes unmanageable ways. GAT offers a clearer path to answer questions and implement procedures in how it rethinks Admin Console processes and presents options to admins in clear, understandable workflows. This saves me time, which is critical as my role includes general school administration as well as IT. I get the answers and solutions I need in an efficient and effective manner.

I am highly pleased with the experience. One of the standout aspects of GAT Labs is their training staff. The training is excellent and helps us solve any sticking points.

The quality of services provided by GAT Labs is top-notch. The responsiveness and professionalism of their team further add to the positive experience.

Overall, I highly recommend GAT Labs to any organization. Their combination of exceptional training and quality services makes them a valuable partner.

GAT Labs allows us to better manage our Google docs, above and beyond what Google offers. Google's capabilities are rather simplistic, so having additional capabilities to provide further administrative capabilities is extremely helpful.

We use GAT to automate various actions within our Google Workspace (offboarding, applying signatures etc). We also find that the toolset lets us query specific issues (eg. files shared with specific external users) and remediate them much more effectively than we can do with the native Google tools.

Downsides are that the interface can be a little confusing and we might have to read the help pages to work out how to perform a specific task.

GAT allows full day to day oversight to out google domain. Need to automate disabling chromebooks that have not checked in x amount of days, done. Need to age off unused accounts that have not logged in x amount of days, done. and it can be as automated as you would like. Support is a simple email or call away, althought I prefer emailing since I dislike being on the phone unless its a magor emergency. I use the features just about every day and its one of the easiest

My only complaint about the product is the amount of options that are available are sometimes hard to keep track of.

Saving me time by having everything available in a single pane of glass as opposed to having to go to google and find the settings.

Once it is up and running it is a quite work machine. Items just work and update regularly.

GAT Labs provides a suite of tools that are designed to give both beginning and advanced systems administrators the tools they need to manage their Google Workspace environment. Their graphical tools give a fairly clean way to ask the Google Workspace environment complex questions. From figuring out how many files you have shared, to performing bulk operations, there is always something new to discover.

It's a bit hard to understand the GAT Labs product set across the portfolio. I'm still unclear which tools are needed for exactly which functionalities.

GAT Labs is helping us to get a better idea of what data we have in the organization and who that data is shared with, both internally and externally. It's also helping us perform bulk operations that were unavailable to us in the Google Workspace admin console or through GAM.

Easy deployment, and effortless implementation. Flexible web filtering options that allows to target specific Google OUs. Blocking based on RegEx allows for granularity.

Responsive, and helpful customer support has helped with any issues that may arises.

General Audit Tool has been a GREAT addition to our daily administrative tasks with Google, and GAT Shield has been exactly what we needed for a student filtering solution.

Downsides? None.

GAT Labs allows you to manage your Google Workspace environment in the way you'd expect to be able to use it if Google built their software out to be truly manageable. With the ability to graphically do simple and complex things that were traditionally only available through scripting, you can now administer a Google environment much more effectively. Beyond that, with Flow and other automation tools, you can extend these functions in ways that keep your environment secure and properly managed.

I agree with other reviewers that the software isn't exactly the most modern. Maybe better said, the UI isn't all that bad. It's more the UX side of things. There are SO many options, but no intuitive way to figure out which of the many options you should be using to accomplish what you want to do.

GAT Labs is helping us to help our clients manage their cloud file security and exposure. We're able to get reports or run queries to help answer critical security and access questions.

An easy way to search and verify access lists

This is our first year in fully utilizing GAT Labs. GAT+, GAT Shield, and GAT Flow have changed the way we manage our Google environment. These tools provide us with an incredible amount of information about our users, devices, and apps. The tools allow us to better manage our environment. We continue to utilize additional functions as we explore and learn about all of the capabilities. The integration with our Google environment was quick and easy. The support team is very responsive and extremely helpful.

I honestly have not found any real downside to using GAT Labs. The biggest challenge is there is so much functionality that I want to make sure we are fully utilizing all of the available features.
