What I like most about Funnel is how customizable it is. Within their Data Explorer you can look at the data in any way please and any possible configuration. you can create custom metrics and dimensions and any type of filter imaginable. And if they don't have a data source connector for a platform you're looking for, they have the ability to create custom connecters to these sources. As our agency has grown, Funnel has grown their usability with us as well!
Their customer support also responds within the same day and will work with you until you're questuions are answered and they are always SO helpful!
I also love their direct integration to Looker Studio!
There is not much I dislike about the platform.
Perhaps the one thing I like least would be having to wait for all of the data within a data source to completely upload at once.
But no seriously, I use this platform everyday and my days would be a lot longer without Funnel.
Funnel's biggest use case for our agency is data analyzation and reporting!
Funnel benefits us because it allows us to store and track all of our data in one safe, convenient location. Instead of looking at Data across multiple platforms, we can see all of it together within Funnel and look at cam[aigns as a whole or broken down by any dimension we see fit!

I have tried dozens of connectors for Looker. I work daily with this Google tool to obtain data from different advertising platforms, CMS and online stores.
Funnel is my favorite tool for the vast majority of connectors I need in reports.
It's easy to connect data sources and export the metrics you want to work with. And they have A LOT of connectors.
So far it has not failed me, the connectors have not given me any problems (with other platforms I have had problems with the connectors) and it has an intuitive and simple interface.
It's a stable and easy-to-use tool that does not make me waste time on misconfigurations or disconnections of connectors. 100% recommendable.
Hubspot data doesn't work very well with Funnel. I don't know if the problem is with Hubspot or with Funnel, or maybe it's mine because i don't get to work with the data I need and I have in Husbpot. I'll be working on it and edit my review if anything changes.
Funnel helps me to work with a lot of conectors for Looker, all of them in one place and with an easy configuration.
With practice and some training, I've found completing analysis and making updates to our data from within the UI is fairless painless. There has rarely been scenarios where we could not directly impact our reporting dataset from within the UI where necessary. We used this functionality ignificantly to clean up historic data, now we use mostly to address misses or small errors we spot through reporting which uses our Funnel dataset. Broadly, our team values funnel because it's allowed us to achive a singular, trusted marketing reporting dataset for campaign performance reporting.
There is seemingly not an easy way to export 'rules'. While we've established a trusted funnel dataset to use for marketing reporting purposes, our team has an interest in sharing not just this dataset directly but the rules that we've used to set it up with other teams within the org such as data engineering groups (so they can mirror marketing logic for any analysis being done on marketing data). Figuring out how we document the many rules we have in place as well as which dimensions/metrics are or are not in use is an opportunity I see for this tool.

Nothing to dislike but a wish lisht is to have access to a monitoring summary dashboard for the Datawarehouse Data File Stats over time to understand the footprint and impact of each connector/data export in a centralized place.

The platform works in a logical way, and enabled us to set our implementation up quickly following a good structure. Our rep is friendly and available at Funnel with recommendations for when we get stuck or have feature suggestions. Being able to pull a lot of disparate platforms together into one unified reporting area has been a breath of fresh air compared to other solutions we've used.
While Funnel is excellent at dealing with the tasks it's designed for, if you're trying to do something which wasn't envisaged by the design team, it gets tricky quickly. We very rarely run into issues like this, but it's worth baring in mind.
As a marketing agency covering multiple channels, we needed a solution that would help pull all those threads together and allow us to report from one platform with a single voice as much as possible. The ability to set up custom metrics and dimensions means that setting up core data information (e.g. sales & revenue) is a set up once, use forever model that considerably simplifies the creation of new reports using the existing columns.
The clean & logical interface also helps with debugging issues when they crop up as all of the information is easily surfacable entirely within the Funnel platform.
I've tried out numerous tools for the ETL of marketing data in our company, and we've even developed our own internal solution. However, you'll never find a way to gather data from as many sources as you use without a sizable team. The support team is highly responsive; when I reached out to them, they provided invaluable feedback, helping me realize the issue was on our end. They offer many connectors and hassle-free integration of sources & destinations that support OAuth2.
Nothing to mention here. They've introduced a free account now, so small teams can grow faster and then upgrade to paid plans.

The fact that data from different sources can be mapped, grouped, manipulated and blended within the Funnel platform to fit our needs is invaluable, so we only export what users want to see to answer their specific questions. The time saving on our standardised reports and the ease of running ad hoc analysis within Data Explorer has been incredible.
Working around Funnel's flexpoint charging model requires real careful planning.
Funnel does not only help us blend data from different sources, but also to map it, group it and manipulate it within the planform which allows us to only export the data users want to see to answer their specific questions. This alone has been a huge time saver and helped eliminate the risk of human error had it been done manually.
Funnel is my favorite martech, by far, eats Supermetrics for breakfast. After using Funnel, I am able to extract all my favorite data and visualize it. Combine data, view everything in one place and build custom connectors. Just buy it. Simple as that.
