I like how easy and seamless it is to create guidelines for our brand identity. The range of options we have to express visually is great. The administrative tools and analytics are also a cherry on top. It helps us deliver a great brand experience to our stakeholders.
I wish Publisher worked flawlessly. Sometimes it renders previews wrong and users are confused when using templates. It would be great to move pages from guidelines to guidelines easily without involving Frontify tech support.

I would wish for more transparency regarding pricing when not on enterprise. A lot of times you really feel like "ugh, talk to enterprise – again", which doesn't really give a good feeling.

When I search for photos and attempt to zoom in or download them, the screen resets to the beginning instead of retaining my position, forcing me to start browsing from the beginning all over again.

Super easy setup. From automatic color swatches and drag-and-drop assets uploading to interactive icon libraries and intuitive formatting — it took me just a couple of hours to have a whole branding portal ready for my team and all the basics uploaded. Still updating and adding new materials, of course, as we grow and so do our needs, but the flexibility of Frontify platform makes it go smooth like butter.
Usage and adoption is just awesome, too. My team now has a single source of truth for everything visual, with access to all the assets (correct and up-to-date ones, most importantly) and respective rules and guidelines explained for everything. Cuts down countless hours of dm replies, and now I have just one link for everything my team needs.

Didn't have any issues so far, but we only explored what feels like the tip of an iceberg of features. Sometimes it feels overwhelming to get your hands on a new part of Frontify, but I believe their support team to be there when needed.

There should be a 'central font server for font management with selection allowed every time to the user as opposed to including fonts in every InDesign package. This makes the InDesign packages heavy whenever we need to include font scripts for different languages.
The main is its capability to integrate with many platforms our organization already uses. It has made our work faster. Second, it crunches InDesign files like they are some salt pepper chips! :-) It reads them beautifully when we follow the packing guidelines. Third, the usage is very intuitive and user-friendly, and as I said, even a non-designer, an average layperson, can create helpful marketing material online.
We recently moved over to Frontify to host our brand guidelines, which has been incredible, it elevates the brand and is easy to navigate. The templates function has made our lives so much easier as designers as it allows controlled designs to be created amoungst our larger team. The Frontify team were also hands on deck with helping us onboard onto the platform and answering any questions we had a long the way.
It is very practical and structured, it lacks a sense of design freedom which could be nice to include. Features like video to play behind text that's been inserted via the platform would be great.
Creating a brand guidelines that are easy to update and create consistency whereas before it was a shared PDF that had multiple versions floating around. Also using templates for designs which have a more consistent place.

Frontify is incredibly easy to use for both users and administators. They've pre-made all kinds of content blocks, filters and asset management tools so creating and updating content is really quick and simple.
One of the best things about it is the ability to share guidelines and assets with third parties and the fact you can tailor their level of access.
Because everything is templated there's only so much customisation you can do in terms of design, but if the pages were more bespoke I'm sure they'd be a lot harder to create and maintain!
First and foremost it allows us to house our brand guidelines and playbooks digitally meaning we can add to them, update them, share them really easily as often as we need. We also use it to house digital assets including imagery and (lots of!) logos. Having them all in one place ensures a single source of truth that's always up to date.

It'd be great to have a bulk option to create reviews, as well as a bulk meta-data and tagging option.
Also, being able to protect different layers of folder systems could be useful, but is workable.
Sharing assets easiley and making them viewable to the right teams. It makes reviewing and amending super clear and easy, and is a dream to have gotten rid of confusing excels, emails and updates from dozens of different locations.
