There are two things. First: their customer service is bar-none, the best i have ever seen. They have a chat option that allows you to get answers within 5 minutes if not sooner. Second: the system so so robust you can work operations, payments and sales seemlessly together.
Though their cost is a bit high, it is well worth the money and they will work with you for the best pricepoint that works for them and for you.
I can track payments, partial payments by product and company. I love being able to see the email history and when the client or potential client has opened his/her email and how many times. That way I know how to approach our next conversation.

Customer Service is outstanding, and the developers listen to my needs and, within hours, have made the necessary updates needed to make things work. My niche is a hard nut to crack because there are so many variables. However, Freeagent stepped into this and together, we have devised a system that flows very well and does what I need. I cannot say enough good things about them.
No-fault of Freeagent, but I have had to integrate with a third-party system to fire off my information into Freeagent, and I would prefer to bypass that third-party system altogether.
You will need a dedicated person as Freeagent likes the user to own the process and admin settings. If you have a dedicated individual, this will work well for you. Also, make sure you have a good grasp on your path and what you want to achieve.
My organization has never integrated with a CRM that can be a single entry point; Freeagent has solved that problem. Freeagent is storing my data, providing real-time updates to office staff and reps in the field, and supplying me with robust reporting. There hasn't been a single thing that I've disliked about FreeAgent and I use this software constantly throughout my day.
I love that I can easily organize and label my contacts within FreeAgent. This allows for easy communication with different types of contacts. I also like that it tracks my history with each contact including calls, emails, and appointments. This feature keeps me on my A-game and helps me to look and feel organized when I'm meeting with donors.
Our sales reps love the mobile app. They use it throughout the day, They don't have to pull out their laptop and get sut up; they can grab their phone and use FreeAgent right there. I think that's a big reason why they have so much activity within FreeAgent
Adding widgets is time-consuming, especially when you have multiple business units and different reps in each business unit.

It is difficult to pick one "best":
The ability to easily create custom data fields was a critical element for us. We are a smaller school with unique requirements and educational data fields. The "out of the box" systems didn't meet our needs and didn't offer the ability for customization. Free Agent allows us to easily create multiple data fields and organize these in the way that makes it most efficient and productive for our staff.
Having the ability to come in first thing in the morning and see the status of each prospect student has saved a lot of time for our Admissions' team. It is so easy to move a prospect through various stages of the funnel, see all activities related to the prospect (phone calls, texts, emails) and the timeline with each.
I have reports that I need every single week. With FreeAgent, once the reports have been created, it’s just one click and I can have it right there. That saves quite a bit of time.
