I've found Grant LifeCycle Manager to be easy-to-use and straight-forward/intuitive. I have had positive experiences each time I've used the product - seamless and no surprises.

I've been an end user, a consultant, and an admisitrator with this product, although my primary use has been as a consultant.

I've not yet experienced any negatives or "downsides" to the product; I have had only positive experiences.

Some benefits have included, yet are not limited to: Ease of use/entry of data; ease of formatting; clarity of instructions for how to utilize and options/features.

The only downside is it can sometimes become a lengthy application if you have many short questions - but that would be true for anyone.

GLM is solving all our grant management needs, especially as we are currently making our grants more accessible and manageable from the applicant's point of view. We have seen almost a 200% increase in grant applications.

Foundant GLM is intuitive and easy for me to use. If I have any trouble, I can get help to figure it out. Everyone at Foundant is professional and helpful.

It's hard to come up with something, but it might be nice to have more contrast on forms so I can easily find where questions are answered as I scan the page.

I can easily assist grantees through the request process, making it easier for them to get to the important work they do.

I am not sure how they do it but Foundant shines where it counts. Their responsiveness and readily available support staff make me feel like I am the only client. I have not waited more than 5 minutes to be speaking with an actual person. As a grant administrator who never intended to also be our agency’s database manager this is key in allowing me to spend my time on my job.

User permissions could be expanded upon.

Email can be sent from GLM, but responses go to default email and must be saved and uploaded to GLM to be attached to applicant/grant request.

Our applicants find the system easy to use.

This is a great solution for grant management. It’s very flexible in tweaking it to meet a variety of needs once you dig into it.

Granting funds and we’re able to better track expenditures with the product.

I like that the software gives me the opportunity to centralize all of the information about our grantees

I find that the software takes a lot of time to learn. There Is a site that helps you understand it’s features but I’d argue that the software is not intuitive.

I would take a significant amount of time making sure staff have the time and space to learn and implement the software together.

We were able to solve problems of getting adequate information and intel about the effectiveness of our Grantmaking.

This no-frills platform provides grantmakers with the most basic cloud-based grantmaking database needs. Clear option for very small teams or those with minimal functionality needs and little-to-no customization needs. Very dedicated and hands-on support from Foundant team.

Price is not competitive in current landscape of grants management solutions. Foundant GLM user interface feels a bit clunky and dated, and does not allow for much customization or robust tailored views, searches, reporting, etc.

Foundant GLM provides a solid cloud-based database for basic grants management. Solves basic need to record and enter data, search grants, and run reports.
