I've been using FlowMapp for many years in my studio and academy. Its pictograms in sitemap make IA and user flow more beautiful and usable, especially when we must present it to our design customers! The collaboration and communication options are so helpful in accelerating the feedback process. I use this tool in our academy to educate IA and user flow instead of general tools like Miro because it helps my students understand the logical relation between information architecture and user flow design.

One aspect of Flowmapp that could be improved is its flexibility when it comes to multiple main nodes or templates. While the current setup works well for our needs, it would be nice to have the ability to create and customize multiple templates for different projects or clients. Additionally, we often include SERP (Search Engine Results Page) information in our planning process, but currently have to add it as a text block within the main node. It would be great if there was a separate input field specifically for SERP information.

Having one single source of truth for new website content is essential when it comes to building effective information architecture. While mindmap tools like Flowmapp can certainly be helpful in this process, they aren't the only solution. It's important to have a centralized location where all website content can be stored and accessed by everyone involved in the project. This ensures consistency and accuracy throughout the entire planning process, and ultimately leads to a more successful end product. Whether using a mindmap tool or not, having a single source of truth is crucial for effective information architecture planning.

Customization panel (colors, borders etc) on the bottom of the screen - sometimes gives pain: you click on the element, then you need to go to the bottom of the screen, click to the color customisation, then on specific color.. then again and again) It's not the critical issue, but sometimes really hate this thing.

I have all-i-need UX tools in one place. It also easy to use and creating cool-looking schemes. And I can collaborate with team and share the result with stakeholders in one click.

We have used FlowMapp for many years and built it into our Shopify Partner agency workflow, delivering high-quality eCommerce websites.

We have put in a feature request for parent + child relationships in the footer menu - this is the only thing we have found so far.

We create very detailed website structures for complex website projects. Furthermore, we collaborate with clients to document content and page functionality - it's great!

The tool is of great quality, useful, and has great UX, however, our greatest thanks goes to technical support who have helped our company PopArt Studio quickly transfer projects, and who are true professionals.

My favourite feature (and the main one I use at this stage) is the visual sitemap creator. Love the cover images to help visualise each page's UI/purpose.

It took a while for me to understand how to navigate between projects.

FlowMapp helps me show clients what their website project might look like when it's done. I use it when planning sites and creating proposals. I'd say this probably helps increase my proposal acceptance, but more importantly, it helps us quickly get on the same page with clients.

The user flow feature is super awesome. Helps in illustrating and breaking down of the process the scripts go through.

Still hoping they will include a database modelling feature and that will be the icing on the cake.

I love the ease of the tool and the UI. I can get rapid flow maps up and collaborate with my team, and the ability to develop and assign user personas to use to evaluate product and site functionality is invaluable.

I have not found anything I dislike. I think this tool is well designed and easy to use, not to mention the ability to collaborate with the rest of your team in real-time. Awesome

This is an excellent tool for design and dev teams alike.

We are identifying usability issues across all of our site properties, as well as planning a better user experience for potential and existing customers alike. It also helps our team to align on work.

Its an application for preparing site maps and flow charts that explain the flow of the process of things. Its can be used by anyone who wants to make a presentation describing the flow of things.

The thing is you can not export just a piece of the large flow map and I think it would be nice if I could integrate it with my other design tool for fast and efficient work.

If you are in the field of product management or design then you can try using this software to make your map and flow diagrams.

Being a UI/UX designer I use it for making my information architecture for all my client works. It is easy to use and has a pleasing and clean UI which makes it easy for me to draw the flow quickly. Overall it is a great tool!
