I love the bidirectional feedback and source requests that occur between reps, managers, and teams. I liken Flockjay to being the closest thing you can get to a live sales floor interactive experience where reps can share insights, best practices, etc. It is also the best LMS for coaching reps in that it provides multiple opportunities for managers to provide feedback and coaching, as well as for reps to solicit feedback and advice.

The user interface has a few snags that make prevent seamless navigation within things like learning paths and some of the features are not as intuitive, for example "autosave" is not yet a feature when creating courses and learning paths.

We used to have HighSpot which had a very clunky and outdated LMS. The course experience in that platform was not user friendly and building courses took a long time. I can now build out courses and entire learning paths for things like onboarding in hours. Also, we discovered that a lot of coaching and enablement was going on in silos, with individual teams and managers offering enablement and resources but not making things available to the entire organization. Flockjay lets everyone share and crowdsource in a location where we can actually capture, collate and curate their resources rather than letting all of that happen in Slack, where things go to die.

I like to compare Flockjay to the experience of being in high school. If you think back to high school there was the Library, which is a great resource IF you know what you are looking for and where to find it, but it is not where you go to learn new things. That is your standard CMS. Then there are the morning announcements, where you find out all of the important things going on that week, and you need to pay attention to get that information. And that is like Email and formal communication. Then there is Slack, which many organizations primarily rely on for communication and asset sharing. Slack is like walking throught he hallways during passing time - there are hundreds of conversations going on around you and you MIGHT catch something in passing that is of value, but if you were not paying attention or in close proximity when it was said, you missed that.

Finally, there is the actual classroom setting, where you not only experience formal learning but peer to peer interaction and support. Flockjay is like being in the classroom with your teacher and other students. The teacher can introduce the lesson, then let you go off into small groups to work through the project or lab; the teacher can circulate, observe what the students are doing, offer help when needed, and point them to resources they might find useful to help them be successful with their learning. The teacher can choose when to do a formative or summative assessment to check progress and ultimately provide the best learning environment to prepare the students.

Flockjay provides the support of a teacher and coach. It is, in my experience, the best platform for truly coaching reps and meeting them where they are at. People learn best from each other, and Flockjay enables that type of learning.
