PROS: When it comes to media management, Filecamp is one of the best and most user-friendly platforms out there. It has secure and reliable storage - it really is worth every penny.
CONS: I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this platform.
PROS: Using it is a no-brainer and it provides a wide vista of all our assets too.
CONS: Granting permissions, adjusting granular access, and triggering notifications can be tedious.
PROS: No
CONS: Both our staff and our clients love Filecamp! Not only does it allow us to quickly share files with our customers (it comes complete with a personalized URL too!), but it also helps us stay organized.
PROS: This platform is a brilliant marriage between DAM functionality and superb interface. I love its unlimited user capacity per account and the ability to process site-specific roles for users. It also allows private brand labeling.
CONS: It would be nice to have more control over which users get more elevated privileges when it comes to access to media and documents. Assigning access to every user can be quite tedious too. Lastly, email blasts can hardly be formatted and personalized enough.
Easy--training me to add content took only a brief session that was enjoyable because it works the way you want it to. Now that I have loaded enough content onto our filecamp, I only need share the access and any user can navigate on their own. It is flexible and functional--we can find what we need. It fits a particular need we had for a visual inventory of images.
My one recommendation would be to reconfigure the search function so it clears for a new search term after every use. As our files get larger, I don't know what I will do when I only have the most generic terms to search by, but so far when those terms are used, the number of files to browse is not unmanageable.
If you can put it through a test drive, you can see how easy it is to drag and drop files. When setting up, you will want to think of how to organize your files, a trade-off when you are browsing and
We wanted to share images where a quotation is posted over an image in order to reuse the--there might be 100 or more of us interested in recirculating old memes. While still compiling the database I'm pleased to find that I can spot duplicates, usually before they're created, and I can share the database easily even when incomplete. The archive of images reveals that the older themes lack the impact of newer ones.
The interface is clean and simple and easy to use. Very easy to learn without having to spend a lot of time figuring it out.
Bulk invitation feature does not offer a place for an invite message.
It was the easiest and least expensive of all the ones I reviewed.
We are solving the problem of being able to share important files with the sales team.
I spent several weeks trying to find a product exactly like Filecamp. There are a lot of different file vaults, but only Filecamp met my needs. I needed to create an online file vault with custom permissions that allowed me to share help files, marketing materials, videos, etc with hundreds of our customers. Most other file vaults charge per user, which would not be feasible for our purposes. This is a flat fee and it's branded, very professional, and easy to use.
The only thing I'd like to make easier is to allow to share handy web pages or short cuts to existing websites.
Try it. And upgrade to the pro version to get all of the custom branding and it makes it easy for customers to request access. That alone is worth the price.
I needed a way to share files with hundreds of our customers. FileCamp made it easy to do that and the branding is so much better. Before we'd share videos on youtube. Never again. In comparison, that is so unprofessional, because youtube has ads and automatically segues to a competitor's video. Filecamp offers a very professional video player and an easy account approval process.
PROS: Honestly, I don't know which part about Filecamp I like best. On one hand, I appreciate how fast I can save and retrieve files to and from it. On the other, customer support is top-notch too. I've long dreaded the idea of migrating our files to the cloud, but Filecamp has made the whole process a seamless experience for us.
CONS: It would be nice to have a sneak-peek of the documents on the media library page. See, we have uploaded so many files on this platform, and finding the correct files can be quite difficult. I hope Filecamp will consider allowing users to take a look at what's inside the files without having to click and open them.
PROS: I'm so glad we stumbled upon and ultimately decided to try out, Filecamp. It has done wonders for our file organization efforts. The platform is designed to be both straightforward and functional - two things that are important for our team members as well as our clients. Through it, we've been able to layout an optimal file organization plan for us.
CONS: The preview icons for videos need to be created manually, unlike preview for photo images where Filecamp generates the icon for you. It would be much appreciated if Filecamp simply pulls snippets from these videos to create icons automatically instead of leaving this task to us users.

PROS: There are so many things to love about Filecamp. For starters, it supports secure login by allowing users to customize. We're able to save a lot of media assets in it too. It gives us access to the activities log too so we can trace any anomalies within the platform. Finally, it makes file sharing so much easier.
CONS: I'm still waiting for the capacity to personalize share URLs.
