I cancelled my direct debit with EziDebit more than 2 months ago. Also blocked them on my Bank Account. But this is how disgusting this company is I noticed a Direct Debit again today. When I contacted my bank I was told that EziDebit get around blocks by debiting under a different name. So they change the name to EziDebitblock account and they can continue into the future continuously changing their name slightly and SUNCORP BANK told me that this is quite legal for them to do that. The only advise SUNCORP could give me was to keep my fingers crossed and hope it doesn't happen again, yes I agree that's not a reassuring advise from a bank but I was pretty much told if in doubt close my account and reopen a new account until I guess the next time I need to give my account details to make a purchase and then close the new account and open up another account. I use the card for online shopping at Coles and many other stores I got a feeling ill soon get tired of closing & opening bank accounts to keep them safe. Did anyone else realize their money is absolutely not safe from fraud in the bank or is it just suncorp.

My Son & I are members of the same GYM and signed a document authorising the GYM to deduct fortnightly Membership fees. As far as I knew I was authorising the GYM to deduct regular payments. On looking closer at my Bank Statements I began to see a few more than unusual payments being deducted, extra ""FEES"" I am not one that likes giving out my banking details and on questioning the GYM found that the deductions and sundry fees were the work of a company known as EZIDEBIT. My son notified the GYM who in turn notified EZIDEBIT that he wanted to cancel his membership at the GYM and transferred to a different GYM slightly more expensive but not using EZIDEBIT thereby not letting this excuse of a company free reign to deduct whatever they wanted. HOWEVER... EZIDEBIT continued to remove money and ""FEES"" From my son's bank account. Looking now at their Trustpilot score I can see I'm not the first to be ripped off by this company. Most people wanting to leave a review must give some score even if one star out of five in order to leave a review. I guess in general this business has less & probably zero trust by people who have been ripped off by this so called business. VERY VERY VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES. AVOID WHERE POSSIBLE.

Terrible customer service and very expensive

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE THIEVES!THE WORST company I have ever dealt with. They literally steal money straight from your account. We ceased our account with them more than a year ago when we sold our gym and they are STILL taking money out. Ezidebit was nothing but headache after headache to deal with. Awful, USELESS, unlawful. Nothing 'Ezi' about these fraudsters. These people do not care about you, stay far away. -JJ

Same as everyone else, Dishonour fees. I had already contacted the company involved and had made arrangements with them. These guys don’t promote good customer relations and I will be strictly avoiding any business using them.

Ripp off fees, $14.80 each time there is no money in your account no warning they charge every day like a fineIf you're a business they will tarnish your name.I will never subscribe to a business that uses EzidebitUpdate to Ezi-Con reply.Hi James,I called Ezi debit and totally useless and the operator used recycled T&C jargon talks and offered no resolution.I asked for my card to be removed, would not do it.Where is the contract you promised you would send that outlines the T&C's I signed to agree to a rip off dishonour fee of $14.80? Again today another $14.80c charged to my card that's 4 in 2 days! $59.20! For those reading, Ezi debit fine you at their leisure, no prewarning that your account is to be debited. The money goes straight to Ezi debits pockets and not the business your dealing with.It's my mission to take out Ezy-conartist.You're a bunch of thieves.

Charging me $14.80 Dishonour fee after taking the money from my account.Fraudulent, this is going beyond emails, lawyers and law enforcement.Never use this illegal company, never trust them and never ever let a real estate or something you use bully you into signing up to them.Edit: An update, called the Commbank and got information that says there was more than enough money in the account and they took the money without hassle, for some reason they then refunded it and claimed not enough money, then charge dishonour fee, so i call Ezidebeit, the rude arrogant ignorant woman on the phone then calls the Commonwealth Bank of Australia liars and wrong.What a wonderful company, not!

This is the most infuriating online payment system ive ever used

I have been using Ezidebit for the past 5 years, when the S!!t was hitting the fan with Covid 19, our backs are up against the wall to provide a great service online. Which we have managed to do, our customers are pumped. We then find out all of our Direct Debits have been stopped by Ezidebit. To date they have provided no legal documentation to show they can. Totally useless. I will be leaving as soon as we are out of this mess.I want to see the legal proof that they can be holding on to our customers money without passing it on. Our customers are furious.
