This is a straightforward platform, and it's easy to manage personal expenses as well as company credit cards. I manage multiple budgets and it's simple to tag an expense to the appropriate line item without having to use multiple platforms.
I really like the way it functions, it could use a bit of modernizing, the website platform looks a bit dated. Also, uploading receipts could have a better process, you have to complete multiple steps to upload a receipt. I found the app a bit glitchy so I just stick to the website.
Expensewire allows me to manage and track multiple budgets in one expense report, that is it's most helpful feature.
After years of an archaic expense/reimbursement system (spreadsheets, no manner in which to provide corresponding receipts, etc.), ExpenseWire came in as a simple and effective solution for our business. With the added ease of an app and the ability to link relevant accounts, team members are able to track their expenses as they go and/or quickly assemble an expense report - saving both time for the team member, as well as the approver!
There's nothing really to dislike - the platform itself is fairly straightforward and easy to modify on the backend, if/when necessary.
Our Financial Controller used to receive printed out documents of a team member just listing out their expenses and where it was spent. Receipts didn't need to be provided and he had to then sit there and cut checks for staff. After some time, receipts were then required with every submission, the FC would then have to sit there and verify totals/destinations to corresponding claims on submitted documents. Overall, this has been an incredible time saver and an easy way to disperse funds to staff.
ExpenseWire is a great and reliable expense management software that has positively impacted our business. I like to use ExpenseWire because it has an understanding and responsive technical team. Moreover, using this expense management software is fast and easy because it is less complex. ExpenseWire is a powerful tool.
I hate nothing about this incredible expense management software. ExpenseWire is powerful, easy to install and affordable to run. It is very helpful and convenient to use.
ExpenseWire is an exceptional expense management tool that I can advocate or recommend to other business persons. It will help the prospective customers to handle and control all their expenses in a professional and organized manner. ExpenseWire is affordable.
ExpenseWire has brought a very positive impact to our business.
Were it not for ExpenseWire, we could not be able to handle and manage our expenses professionally.
With the aid of this tool, we are able to make sure that every coin spent by our team is accounted for.
Therefore, ExpenseWire is suitable for us.
ExpenseWire makes it very easy for me to upload a receipt and pair it with a specific purchase.
The GUI is easy to use, but looks a little dated.
Upload receipts as you need them, then trash them. No need to save.
Eliminating the need to save receipts for various departments and Reconciling them with purchases.
The east of being able to upload receipts via email into the account and store them in there for future use.
How long it takes to complete an expense report when you have a lot of expenses. I don't think that's the software error though :)
Not sure of cost.
organization, reconciliation
Very simple to make and submit a report.
Long drop down menus require a lot of scrolling. And it would be nice to have the option of a mobile app so I don't have to go to the website every time.
Good option, try it
Getting reimbursed for travel and food
I like that Expensewire makes everything digital! I love the ease of doing much of the work on my phone and giving that option to my colleagues.
There is not much I dislike about the program.
I love having the benefit of being able to upload receipts from my phone! I also enjoy having the ability to create reports through credit card statements.
Pretty straight forward, easy to learn and use.
A lot of tabs, and sometimes it does not allow you to select ir check boxes. I personally have had issues with receipts, and my manager not being able to access them.
Reimbursements
My favorite part of ExpenseWire is its seamless connectivity with my company’s payroll solution. Expense reimbursement requests are easy to submit and process quickly. The software is easy to use.
I would like it to be easier to upload multiple attachments/receipts in an expense report.
As a newer organization, ExpenseWire has helped provide a seamless solution for expense reimbursements which previously required a workaround between email approvals and our payroll software to accomplish.

The part I like best is the tabs are easy to read. It is also easy to navigate.
What I dislike about it are the many screens. I feel with what little we need to provide it should just be one page.
The problem I am solving is submitting my request for internet reimbursement.
