It has such easy access to everything and keeps it organized.

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

I enjoy all the organized files. There is only a click away from receiving a download of pertinent information to an excel or pdf.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

I am content with its access and organization.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work on exams and compile them all for our records. My most significant benefit is how efficient it is at separating the files and its ease.

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

ExamSoft significantly decreased the time necessary to perform item analysis, ensure all course objectives were included in assessments and helped with accreditation reports.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

It was a tedious transition; formatting exams for uploading to ExamSoft, entering them manually in some cases, but you'll only do it once. I wish students had access to chat support during exams rather than having to do a phone call.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can identify students at risk much sooner and determine which content is not being understood. We have solved not having access to computer labs for testing, issues related to campus closer and testing (COVID, weather, etc.).

ExamSoft helps instructors

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

The exam evaluation process is made much easier with the statistics provided by ExamSoft. It's much quicker to evaluate and post results, and adjust scoring without the need for complex formulas.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

There isn't much I dislike about ExamSoft. They have been very responsive when students need help, or when I need help. Every issue I've encountered has been resolved quickly.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Able to generate use a huge pool of test questions, so exams can be different from year to discounrage any academic dishonesty. The exam review process is much easier as well.

ExamSoft the Savior!

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

Ease and comfort of assembly of all question banks and ability to move questions around.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

Proctoring is sold as separate software and is not inbuilt.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Problems of students cheating online. ExamSoft's ability to put a foot on that without compromising academic integrity. I worked with representatives to highlight that and look for ways to stop that from happening.

One plateform serves all needs for individual student assessment, could provide recommendation for further improvement.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

The appearance in exam Examsoft preview is quite different from the view in Examplify, ex. Picture size and table appearance.

By conducting an exam online with integrating exam processing software, it makes life easier in one step, and the data could be used, corrected, or modified later.

The secure lockdown browser which allows for ease in testing.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

The difficulty in choosing questions from a bank. Limited types of questions. Inability for students to write on the test.

Recommendations to others considering ExamSoft?

Be patient. It's not intuitive but it grows on you.

Copy and paste images while building questions. It allows the department to share questions and makes the assessments visible to administrators.

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

The customer service is just wonderful. The reps will get back to you and work with you on any issue you are having. The ease of use of the platform is great. We don't need highly technical people to run it.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

I think if they introduced a new billing format based on course usage then the entry cost would be lower for organizations and we could reap more benefits of the product.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ease of management for take-home exams, multiple-choice exams, management of a secure platform for taking exams. We have realized time and cost savings both for the administrative staff and have been able to reduce proctor presence.

examsoft is a awesome tool!

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

The browser locks down. It is very nice that I do not have to walk around to make sure my students' arent cheating consistently.

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

I don't particularly appreciate that I cannot exclude the correct answers when I release the results to my students but still gives them access to the answer choices. If I chose not to show them the answers, it STILL shows them the correct answer instead of researching and discussing it with the instructor first.

What problems is ExamSoft solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am still trying to figure out an easier way to upload questions. Having to use the .CSV format is very difficult. It would be nice if I could just import it directly from word.

ExamSoft, great Product!

What do you like best about ExamSoft?

The ability to call for help anytime you need it. Having your exams all in one place. Being able to connect NCLEX categories, NextGen cues, etc. to your test questions

What do you dislike about ExamSoft?

I wish there was a way to organize test questions under categories instead of having a list of questions you have to go through

Recommendations to others considering ExamSoft?

It is worth the money and time to learn how to use the product. It allows exams to be administered not only in class but when students cannot make it to class.
