Awesome content management solution

PROS: Evoq is extremely user-friendly. It is perfect for those who have no prior experience with using a CMS.

CONS: Some features don't work properly right away. This isn't a major concern but fixing it would make our experience with the software a better one.

The user interface and UX as a whole is easy to use, even from a beginner's level

Some features have long loading times and require a lot of clicks to get to, but overall does not affect the experience much

De grootste voordelen van DNN

De grootste voordelen van DNN: kleine leercurve, eenvoudig content wijzigen, zeer flexibel, vrijwel alles zit ingebouwd in het CMS (gebruikersaccounts e.d.). Zelf werk ik ruim 1,5 jaar met DNN en ben in die periode zeer tevreden over CMS, vooral in vergelijking met CMS'en zoals Orchard of WordPress. De eenvoud van templating binnen het CMS maakt dat je eenvoudig solide websites kunt maken, volledig SEO geoptimaliseerd en waarbij alle content flexibel en eenvoudig kan worden aangepast.Uiteraard heeft ieder CMS ook zijn nadelen. De community van DNN is vrij beperkt, de codebase loopt wat achter (webforms - al kan je wel razor gebruiken), relatief weinig beschikbare modules om te kopen / installeren, client-side rendering van de Personabar (of de admin interface in oudere DNN versies) maakt dat bij een JavaScript bug gelijk het hele CMS onbruikbaar is en overload gebruik aan jQuery / Knockout ipv vanilla js componenten (meer een persoonlijke voorkeur).Toch wegen de nadelen niet op tegen de voordelen. Je kan een vrij cleane en snelle website ontwikkelen, met 100% maatwerk adhv Razor templating of gebruik makend van modules zoals OpenContent.

What do you like best about Evoq Content?

Support is very responsive and knowledgeable.

What do you dislike about Evoq Content?

Installation and upgrade process seems a little to complicated compared to other content management systems.

What problems is Evoq Content solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fluid/Responsive content and better options for layout. We hope to take advantage of the analytics dashboard as well.

DNN help with customizing
