Timelines/Storybuilder are becoming my new favorite
Folders help a ton for my attorneys are "old school" and want to see things in a file/folder setup - I am able to train attorneys/paralegals on the ease of Everlaw in a matter of a short zoom call
TIME SAVER - I can do so much in a significantly shorter period of time which saves my client money and helps me tackle more projects
I use Everlaw EVERY DAY and my trust is fully in them.
Not much I dislike about Everlaw... if I do have an issue it is usually resolved after I reach out to customer service.
Some of my suggested changes/revisions for the program are already in the works (others had the same idea before me)
Not really a problem, but they are changing the feature of binder sharing so that it automatically shared with all the admins/reviewers of the project - this is super helpful for those times that I forget to share the binder and the attorney needs access to it.
Extremely Intuitive Coding Panel Layout. Sharing documents with other users is seamless. I also appreciate how easy it is to upload data for review.
Occasionally Everlaw times out while I am reviewing documents. This usually isn't a big deal as I am able to log back in immediately and get back to work. Also sometimes there is a lag when navigating through documents.
Consider all the benefits Everlaw brings to the table versus other platforms. When you realize that Everlaw can perform tasks that other platforms lack, or do it better, that might be your deciding factors.
Collaboration. Being able to communicate quickly and effectively through the platform with a large number of users has been crucial.
As an IT trainer for Everlaw in my company, I felt that it was a fast learning for me, and it didn’t take much effort to learn the platform. I have been helping folks in the civil division with how to navigate the platform and use it to make discoveries And litigate on there live cases
In particular, when we upload different document types to Everlaw, the platform does not allow you to edit these documents in their native applications.
We are using many different tools to accomplish eDiscovery, litigation, record management, live case collaboration with court, external users and legal. In EverLaw you can accomplish all that in one platform. Seems like a one solution for all.
it is fast and its redaction tools have helped us massively, also production and upload is very user friendly and efficient. We offer it across our firm regulary and it has changed the way we run DSARs and document review. It is so user friendly we never have issues teaching it out.
we have been getting a few errors lately, but this is quite rare
Redaction is massive, we used to redact on PDF Docs which doesn't even compare to the benefits of Everlaw. Document review is fast, we can easily add more codes and group documents together well with binders
Everlaw is extremely user friendly and easy to learn all of the various tricks and shortcuts. They offer multiple training opportunities for the different levels of your administration that are specific to the task you need assistance with. Ie: Document Review, Story Builder, Case Setup for Admins, etc. On top of the extensive scheduled training, there are also detailed training links that you can use to trouble shoot on your own. If those options are not ideal, customer service is very responsive and helpful and can solve any issue you may be having in a matter of minutes. The ease of training makes our document heavy cases a breeze to organize and work our cases towards trial. Overall we have used many platforms and this is the only platform that all levels of our administration have had little to no issues with.
I would love if you could lock in the home screen. Like if you click on a document set, it doesn't automatically rearange so that is now on the top on the main screen. I would also like to be able to pick and choose pages in document productions. We get large files we upload and review but sometimes only need to produce 2-3 pages.
It's a great platform that does exactly what it says it will do without the constant headache of similar platforms.
We work with multiple other firms on large class action and mdl matters. The ease of coding and adding notes has made the normal chaos of multiple firms reviewing documents much more streamlined. This makes preparing for depositions a lot easier.
Everlaw's search and data visualization tools are helpful for finding what I'm looking for quickly and efficiently. I use Everlaw on a weekly basis, sometimes daily for important tasks such as doc review and creating productions. Everlaw's customer support is always there to answer my questions and the training webinars are extremely helpful.
How billable size of uploaded data is determined is not clear. You have to be careful about what you upload because the billable size of data can be significantly more than the size of the uploaded data.
Reducing the amount of time spent doing doc review with the help of Everlaw's search and data visualization tools.
The programs is pretty user friendly. I'm finding that searching for a specific word or phrase is simple. The program is really easy to submit requests for redactions. Also, coding documents is really simple and I'm pleased that you can create you own.
I have not found any downside to Everlaw at this time.
Time saver as to reviewing a large number of documents, many of which are emails with attachments.
I wish i knew about the program sooner!! This program help me save hours and hours of time seach though documents.
All the little "tricks" you need to learn and remember. There should a cheatsheet or quick guide.
Finding batestamped documents within secords.
Everlaw is great because all of its features are well thought out to enable you to move quickly and accurately through the entire EDRM cycle.
Still looking for some downside, so far I like everything I see.
Everlaw has made common tasks much more streamlined. From processing to review to production, everything is at your finger tips.

Everlaw makes it easy to organize, claim and review files. Claimed files are grouped by owner and Everlaw makes it easy to search through files, large and small, for sensitive material.
The Everlaw team listened to feedback and have been immensely more transparent with communicating times/days when the site will be down for maintenance. No complaints here.
The Text Selection Mode allows me to be more efficient because I'm able to select one word/phrase/sentence in one area and Everlaw redacts the words/phrases/sentences in all other areas in the file. This helps to 1) complete the file sooner and 2) limit the number of missed information.
