One of the elements I disliked the most in Salesforce Marketing cloud was the lack of customisation options.

It was difficult to create a unique user experience trailored to my specified needs.

Keeping our employees in the dark regarding their performance and ignoring the importance of employee training won’t contribute to building trust with you, nor to increasing sales volume.

What do you like best?

I like how many functions there are that you can utilize personalization on your site (campaigns, recipes, segments, third party integrations, etc.). The segments also allow us to do further deep dives into data about our users.

What do you dislike?

There are a few quirks, like having to log out and log back in once updating a recipe or campaign, but other than that it is pretty straightforward and easy to use!

Personalizing products to our users, showing relevant content, storing user data, and targeting users on other platforms such as email and social with Evergage's segment functionality.

I do wish the Visual Editor was a little more intuitive and little less buggy, but it looks like those changes are on their way.

What do you like best?

I love Evergage's customer success & support teams. They are available at all hours and help organizations with strategy & everyday needs.

What do you dislike?

Their visual editor UI is lacking. I started off using it (I didn't know HTML/CSS at the beginning) and now I only code things myself and haven't touched the visual editor in months. From my understanding, this is a huge priority for Evergage and I imagine after a few months this part of my review will be irrelevant. It would be great to see this improved

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Ensure you have a team that knows, if nothing else, the basics of HTML & CSS. It will come in handy through implementation & campaign building.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are solving the problem of "instinct". Our organization has relied on instinct for years when deciding what to publish to our site. Now, we test things and let the users decide. We're slowly diving deeper into their personalization tools; however, this hasn't been our number one priority.
