"The Pivot"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

EventPilot was there to provide a solid, powerful, cost effective infrastructure and the needed support to help us quickly pivot our meetings to a virtual platform. The seamless integration with our mobile app/desktop planner, registration and programming software, allowed us to move fast, even with our very limited knowledge and experience in the virtual realm. The EventPilot team was there to provide guidance every step of the way, making us look good and as though we were on top of our game to our attendees and community.

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

There were no downsides to using EventPilot. This was not a flawless process as it was new to us all. Any bumps in the road or problems we faced were quickly addressed, and we were in regular communication, quickly and openly discussing and resolving any issues.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

If our attendees cannot be at meetings we are working with EventPilot to bring our meetings to our attendees. We are realizing that through these initiatives we are able to remain connected with our community, keeping them engaged and networking even during a pandemic!

"Most Reliable App We've Had"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

The app is clean and very easy to navigate. The CMS is easy to navigate on our end and when updates happen in the live app, attendees can choose to update now or update later, which is a great feature to have when there are so many attendees using the wifi at the same time!

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

There is a lot of Google Spreadsheets usage and building out the info pages takes quite a bit of time, especially the first time around. This process can be improved but it's easy to use.

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

Start at least 6 months in advance the first year. There is a lot to go through, with any app company, and it's best to understand the system in advance to troubleshoot before you're super busy!

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are finally moving towards getting rid of our big printed Final Program. The information is usually outdated by the time the meeting comes around and now that our app is more reliable, we are seeing higher adoptions in the app.

"Excellent Platform and Features"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

1. Guidance and support from ATIV Software (the company behind EventPilot)

2. Flexible and rich features of the platform

3. Integration with third party vendors such as A2Z

4. Customer Success Manager (in my case Valerie) always tries to find ways to make app the way we want while not incurring additional cost

5. Stay up to date and keep releasing new features

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

None so far in the platform and support. But if I have to name one thing , who does not like additional discount?

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

Has capacity to handle large audience and the platform provides great search and filter features which are probably the best among all scientific meeting mobile app providers out there.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

The mobile app is for our annual meeting and it has become a must-have for any organization that organizes a scientific meeting nowadays. We have EventPilot has provided a solid product and our attendees have been very happy with it. We have been using EventPilot for 5 years now, the app definitely has brought value to our meeting.

"Mobile App Made Simple"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

The "Knowledge Base" has *all* the answers to questions on where to find information. I absolutely love it. It's also very well organized so that's great. In addition, anyone can learn how to use this platform in minutes. And if they have a question, cue knowledge base.

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

As I think about the platform and interactions with employees, nothing is coming to mind for what I dislike.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

For our WE Local conferences, we are able to release time from our marketing team and/or management to work on the mobile app. It really can be operated by an associate, coordinator, or even intern. The benefits? It's easy!

"Great event app and even better service"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

The service we receive from EventPilot is superb. Our account manager, Valerie, is fantastic. She is quick to respond and come up with solutions to any troubleshooting we come across. As for the app itself, it is intuitive and easy to use. The CMS is easy to learn and navigate, as well as viewing reports.

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

There are few things I dislike about EventPilot or the app. I wish there were some more sponsorship opportunities, but we are more than able to utilize what is offered and our exhibitors are happy with what is offered.

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

I have been at my current company for 3 years, and EventPilot has been the company vendor since before my time, beginning in 2012. We switched to a different vendor for 1 year and immediately came back after a very disappointing experience. If you think there is a function the app cannot do, simply ask. EventPilot has gone above and beyond to make our app work with our data and has fulfilled special requests.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

The cost saving of having an app, as opposed to printing final program materials, is huge. Additionally, the app is more interactive and easy to use for attendees. It is also a great communication tool in case of an emergency or schedule change.

What do you like best about EventPilot?

The functionality is top notch. EventPilot has been flexible to meet our unique meeting needs. There customer service goes above and beyond!

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

I do not have any dislikes, this products does everything I expect it to do.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We longer need to print education guides as all the education details and abstracts are available in the meeting app. We have a greater number of attendees completing the course evaluations. The information is easily updated.

"Great platform, lots of features, easy to use for both users and developers"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

We have used both of the standard version and the enterprise version for our meeting apps, and we love both. The apps have lots of features and are easy to use at the same time. Our users love the pin drop feature and the sync function across different platforms. Our developers like their clear documentation and knowledge base. The service team was very helpful and knowledgeable.

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

We have both large (attendees over 1000) and small meetings (attendees less than 200). I hope there is a flexibility of pricing based on number of users.

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

Great platform, lots of available features, easy to use, and constantly making improvements

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

We want to provide additional digital channels to deliver our meeting contents to our attendees and anyone who have interest. We'd also like to get rid of books for our meetings. The survey results show our users are thrilled to have a meeting app for the first time, and some people even refused to take any books.

"EventPilot App was great!"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

We started using the EventPilot app in 2022 and were pleasantly suprised at how easy it was to use, how good the customer service experience was and how much our attendees enjoyed using it. It's rare to have a good looking app that operates well on both the client and attendee side.

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

Other than not having a custom app for our organization (users have to download the EventPilot app and then find our conference within the EventPilot app), there's no downside.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

The EventPilot app is helping us do away with our printed program for our conference, which is saving us time and money.

"Powerful, User Friendly App that manages large amounts of data"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

- ATIV team is easy to work with and are responsive to issues presented

- APP is very flexible and can handle large amounts of data from the backend CMS

- New features are consistently being added/enhanced

- Onsite, users love the APP. It is the main "Go to" tool

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

- Nothing there to dislike, but wish there was a way for users to force updates of the data. Sometimes they are on old versions, and not always easy to get the APP updated.

- If somebody opens up a presentation and makes edits, and a newer version of the file is available, the APP won't have the latest, because the file is marked as "edited". Again, not a big deal

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

Would highly recommend for anybody managing Science, Technology, or non profit meetings.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

The mobile app is used for our annual meeting and it has become the "go to" tool for our attendees. Would recommend to any scientific/medical meeting. We have been using for 5 years now and our attendees are very happy. They can create itineraries, stream sessions, download presentations, and several more benefits

"Solid product chock full of features, great team to partner with"
What do you like best about EventPilot?

The support we receive from the EventPilot (ATIV Software) team - very responsive! The EventPilot team understands our needs and the needs of our conference attendees. Most appreciated is when suggestions are offered to really make the app “sing.” It complements the overall conference experience in a meaningful way. Also, EventPilot integrates well with our 3rd party vendors

What do you dislike about EventPilot?

Rather than dislikes, I prefer to call these wish list items:

- An html editing solution for populating general information in the CMS that is more user friendly.

- A better solution for rating sessions.

- When results come back from a search, have the search term highlighted with a yellow background within each of the results.

Recommendations to others considering EventPilot:

This product can manage large amounts of data/content for a large conference (6,000) such as ours. The product has a lot of features to choose from. Strong team to work with.

What problems is EventPilot solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our attendees have become increasingly more reliant on the information we provide in the app based on the number of downloads and statistics of individual sections in the app thus decreasing our need for printed materials. It’s a must have for any conference!
