Escapia makes it easy to input reservations, adjust them, locate and input information about guests or resevations.

Escapia has issues where it will go down or limit access which can make it frustrating to use

I love the different reports that you can run. It makes it very easy to relay information to owners

Once a booking is made on line a contract is automatically sent to the renter from the correpondence tab.

We like using the reservation grid to search available properties by using the filters.

We are worried about switching to Rates Manager we will lose Dynamic Pricing features from other software we use.

When bringing new properties on board it has been very challenging to get them to feed correctly to Airbnb and VRBO.

The performance dashboard has been a great way to track our progress compared to past years. They pull in data for us so we can just look at the big picture, then dial down the details from there. It's also great to see Escapia coming out with new features regularly. We have loved the new Units manager in particular. It's helpful to have the amenity filtering available, and I appreciate the restructured UI.

Exploring all the available features can be a little overwhelming, but the support center has been pretty helpful for that purpose. We have had trouble with the online guest payment portal multiple times; not a big deal, but slightly inconvenient.

We used to manage our reservations on 2 different PMS. Having everything only in Escapia has been very helpful. We are also excited to have recently learned we can do ACH payments through Escapia. It will be great to be able to do everything regarding owner payments in one place.

I am not solving any problems per se'. I do see that utilizing Escapia I can manage my vr company with ease.

The existence of "Old-School" looks and feel in certain versions.

Integration issues that seem to be repetitive. Moving to cloud-based tools and everyday functions is going to be the saving grace.

I like that it is very simple to use, I can access my company's reports, home owner contact info, and company balance sheets very quickly.

I dislike that it can be very slow sometimes. When I am downloading reports (specifically general ledger reports) it can take up to five minutes to load.

Although Escapia is a bit outdated, it is very easy to use and I would recommend this if you run/work for a small business.

Along with creating monthly statements for property owners, I have access to the company's balance sheet through Escapia so I can balance debits and credits. I've realized that I can access all my reports, checking accounts, and payables/receivables all in one section. It is very helpful, as someone who isn't a computer genius, it is straightforward.

The platform itself is not a very appealing layout, it's stuck in the 2000's with a very basic model. It also has a lot of bugs and errors, constantly rebooting to keep it running smoothly.

Escpia, although has its flaw, is a good solution for reservation management, property management, and owner management.

That it is designed specifically for our line of business. That you are able to provide feedback and suggestions for changes and they can happen

That it is owned and run by HomeAway/VRBO and all of the negative changes with these companies that are affecting us, seem too all be tied together

Make sure you are well educated about VRBO and HomeAway listing and the integration with Escapia. As well as, other products such as Glad, and their integration with escapia.

Everything all in one software. No need for addition CRM software like NAVIS if you utilize Escapia properly and use LMS. Other software is integrated like Glad.

It is easy to access to a large database of properties with detailed information

Its interface is outdated and not super user-friendly. It has a lot of additional steps to program your information, meaning it takes longer.

Don't use it.

It glitches a lot and is a bit complicated to use.
