Erply's software is easy to download and set up. I have to point out that my experience with Erply's customer support has always been really good - quick solutions and friendly approach even with the most stupid questions. The main two useful features Erply offers are particularly thorough Retail CRM and quick product lookup.
Erply has made sales reporting easy as 1-2-3 with its comparison feature that allows you to compare reports from different periods. This helps to analyse your sales and make a strategic plan to increase it - brilliant, isn't it?
I would say Erply has too many features and could be a bit too much if you just need a basic POS system. But yet again, this doesn't necessarily have to be a reason to complain about - the software is still highly recommendable.
Erply is most definitely worth checking!
Sales and Comparison reports enable you to get valuable info about sales, you can also filter them by customer, day or product - This means you get a complete overview of your sales for a given period of time - very convenient.

The fact that you can simply scan an item on the home page instead of making sure the right space is selected is very convenient for fast paced sales. Our previous system also did not let you discount an entire purchase you had to discount each item individually, which took extreme time, this system does allow both a percentage discount and a dollar discount for all items at once. I do also like the option to charge either "100% card" or "100% cash" purchases instead of having to type out the exact dollar amount each purchase, it eliminates room for error in keystrokes.
So far the one thing that is a big flaw for us using a computer to run the system is that the layout is not designed to be able to scroll, so in order to see and use all the buttons on the system you have to zoom out the page, making all the buttons and numbers a lot harder to see. Having them update the functionality for using it on computer would be very helpful. Other than that we have not yet understood the "coupon' function on the POS.
Be sure to utilize all the functions ERPLY has to offer.
As I mentioned, being able to mass discount a whole purchase instead of individual items is a huge time saver. One of our main issues with out previous system was the amount of time and steps it took to complete a transaction. We were constantly apologizing to our guests about wait times for simple things like purchases with a discount.

Building reports monthly, quarterly and yearly. Comparing back dated dates regarding product sales number of transactions and ATV of various stores. Able to pull up reports on any product across the company or one specific store.
PROS: ERPLY has multiple features that our previous solution does not have, making it an enjoyable solution for us. With it, we can scan goods directly from the home page, which enables us to have faster transactions. It also helps that the software supports the bulk application of a discount to purchases and that it can accept percentage and dollar discounts. We are also enjoying the option to charge purchases wholly to a card or to make them full cash transactions only. As such, we can be sure that there is no mistake in calculations.
CONS: ERPLY's interface is not as user-friendly as we wish it to be. It does not support scrolling so we have to minimize the page view to see all buttons. Though that solves the problem, it also makes the text, numbers, and other things less readable. If the software designer can solve this quirk, it would be beneficial not just to us but to all users. Additionally, the use of the POS system's coupon feature still escapes our understanding and it would be nice if they can help us utilize this.
PROS: What really impressed me about this tool is the fact that it is so user-friendly and makes organizing tasks and processes easy as well. It's designed in such a way that I could clearly tell where I am in the transaction process, which of course leads to smoother interactions with customers. Each function is also color-coded, so even the less tech-savvy of us here in the company could easily tell which is which. The process of making price adjustments as well as cashing in and out was also exceptionally easy.
CONS: One thing I think they could really improve on is with regards to the visual elements of the tool. The interface could be a little wider since I could clearly see a lot of unused space even when I was using this tool on a large monitor. Having a bigger monitor wasn't any help with custom buttons either; I still found them difficult to read at a glance. Another thing I had trouble adjusting to at first was how items that have just been scanned appear at the top rather than the bottom.
PROS: ERPLY has never failed us in the four years that we have been using it. Although there had been downtimes, the vendor was quick to resolve them that they never really affected us negatively. Other than that, ERPLY has been magnificent in providing us with unparalleled visibility across our business chain in terms of sales and inventory.
CONS: There are three things that we struggle with when it comes to ERPLY: the e-commerce integration, the payment processor connection, and the fact that the solution does not include the metrics that we need.
PROS: If you're part of management, I think that this tool is going to be good for you. I found it to be really easy to grasp and use; there isn't much of a learning curve to grapple with.
CONS: I really with that this tool was a lot more stable, because it really is slowing down sales whenever it crashes. If they get this fixed I would definitely be really thankful.
The UI is beautifully color-coded for each function; the cash-in and -out process is a dream, and making price adjustments is as simple as selecting a line. It's easy to see where you are in your process and the POS shows where you are in the transaction very simply (product, amount, price).
-The custom buttons are hard to read at a scan and I often search longer than I feel I should for an item I've previously located
-New scanned-in product displays at the top of the list, instead of the bottom. It was a big adjustment and I think I've become accustomed to it, but I still look at the bottom of the list for the most recent item.
-The interface isn't quite wide enough. Even on a 24-inch monitor, there's a lot of white space on either side, and some of that could be better used to give me more than ten characters of product name in the transaction screen.
Compared to other POS services I've had experience with, Erply is a dream come true. I have been working this position for about two months and I am still happy with the experience.

PROS: There are so many things I like about this software, foremost of which is how easy it is to download, set up, and implement. The quick product lookup and Retail CRM are two features that have really made our process just flow much more smoothly, resulting in better interactions with our customers. I also really appreciate the comparison feature that it uses when creating reports. What it does is allow me to compare reports from different times in the life of my business, so I don't just make sales reports, I can also come up with plans on how to improve it moving forward. Finally, their customer sup[port is really great. They've alsways been able to provide me with a speedy resolution to any issues I encounter, no matter how simple those issues may be.
CONS: I really think that more people should use this tool. I guess if there was something to dislike about it, it is the fact that it may be a little overloaded with features if all your business is looking for is a simple POS.
