Getting all my companies data sitting on the same place
PROS: After deploying the system, communication within our business has become more consistent and effective. We access most of our information from a single software solution, so everyone gets the same data. Although we still need to install an Office suite like Microsoft Excel, the software has recognized this and chose a reliable partner.
CONS: At first, finding the way around the software is quite overwhelming. There’s a ton of features and functionalities. There are a lot of things going on. We just do not know what to do first with all of the awesome things the product offers. It would be much better if the platform’s developers gave a clear instruction about how a certain action or setting works and their purpose.
PROS: The environment is pretty easy to navigate and I really like how the reports are structured. It's a little difficult to work in fragments with Epicor though. Once you set it up, the information that they ask you to input is up to the end of a work project.
CONS: I've encountered a few issues that hinder my work process. One issue that comes to mind is that the software translation does not always work. I also would prefer if the software didn't prompt me to input the data on work that I don't particularly want to work on at the moment.
PROS: One of the best things about Epicor ERP is scalability. We have been using this software for a long time. As our business grows, our needs and requirements also grow. Epicor never fails to constantly help us with the business challenges along the way. They provide more features and more amazing product offerings. They never cease to improve their products, which is a great thing.
CONS: It is a challenge to keep up with the fast-changing Epicor ERP platforms. Sometimes, they even change product offerings frequently. There’s a time when they make changes in the Shipping software as well as APM-to-APR and we really had a tough experience. Staying up-to-date with any updates and changes in the software is not an easy thing to do.

It's easy to use, and the EUG discussions are helpful. The cnference is very helpful to guide understanding in modules and the path forward.
BAQs are challenging to build unless you have previous experience with report writing.
I used it in a previous position so I'm very familiar with it. We have not yet implemented at my current employer. Comments are a mix from both. Our current ERP system is going to be obsolete in the near future and was never set up or understood correctly for the supply chain. Same as with the previous employer. The benefit we will get out of it this time is proper use of the planning module. I've learned during this conference when we start implementation we will have access to that Epicor expertise so we have a better chance of implementing all necessary functionality and bringing efficiencies to the organization they haven't yet experienced.
