Communication and connection between deliveries.
We actually implemented this using our iPad and it works like a dream. Having been a Corporate Receptionist at other companies I have found this product to make the task of registering visitors unbelievably helpful. Visitors enter their own name into a system which then prints the badge and automatically notifies the employees. No more complaints about having misspelled a name or not notified an employee. We also use the photo function which makes it very easy for our employees to identify their visitor when collecting them from reception. Our clients are also impressed with our high tech sign-in process.
The only thing that I can say that I don't like is that you can't put the email as optional on the iPad - meaning having the word (optional) next to the email bar. This always confuses first-time customers, so it would be great if that were something we could do. I already have it set as not a required field, but the word (optional) would be extremely helpful.
Great for entry-level customers and can scale to enterprise easily. Also extraordinarily simple to set up.
When my guest arrives at the front desk, I'm notified quickly
I'm sure we don't use all of Envoy's features, but for the simple problem we're solving, I have no complaints!
When a guest (personal, interviewee, visiting partner, etc) checks in at the front desk, Envoy notifies us via slack integration that they've arrived

In a large company we were overwhelmed with emailing coworkers of their deliveries. Envoy made the process streamlined and stress free.
It's super simple to have packages delivered to the office. We use Envoy with Slack, so we get a notification once a package has arrived for us.
This is petty, but I use USPS informed delivery so I'll ask for it. I wish we had a preview for what the package was. Either an image like USPS does, or an idea of who the sender is when we gen an alert for a new package delivery.

Benefits are knowing when and where to find your package, ease of sending to other parties especially when I do not know all of the details for the recipient.
I like that Envoy had the ability to connect to Slack to alert me on deliveries.
Not too many downsides as far as I know of.
Don’t really see problems, but definitely benefits in convenience.
