This was our first effort in this area. Covid changed how we delivered, from an in-person event, to the need for a virtual platform. Engagez met that need. We had the support we needed, and the event, both first and second year, were successful.
While not a 'dislike,' being new to this kind of technology, it would have benefitted our agency, to better understand all of the features and capabilities of the platform and services we procured. We had excellent support and got all we needed, but the experience and knowledge we lacked, may have hindered 'all' that we could offer. It was up to us to learn and ask. Again, not a negative, just observations.
Moving our in-person services to a virtual realm. Beyond that, we still feel there are capabilities and uses to be explored. Members overwhelmingly appreciated the environment and format. Engagement and communication are areas of opportunity, moving forward.

They really help with making a hybrid and virtual event in a COVID world. We were able to hold an event we would otherwise not have been able to, and one that is important to the clients we serve.
I used Engagez to host an annual symposium that, for 44 years, had been done in person. The pandemic forced us to think virtual. Engagez allowed me to customize the venue with things we would have never imagined possible in a virtual space. The ability to create unique sponsor packages and booth experiences elevated my event from other similar virtual conferences that could not offer as much to their sponsors in terms of visibility and networking. I also appreciated how easy it was to include pre-recorded and live sessions for my event. Both could be offered in the On Demand format, allowing many of my attendees to see every session and receive the professional CEUs they needed.
Engagez is a genuinely dynamic platform that offers customization and innovation that I could not find with other platforms, they were a perfect fit for my event that hosted over 800 behavioral health professionals.
The ability to quickly provide session CEUs was a struggle. It would have been good to have a built-in survey feature that I could have had within each session for attendees to complete their survey and easily download their CEU after each session.
Customizing my sponsor packages was the biggest thing for me as I relied on the financial piece of the sponsorships for my business. Engagez worked with me to identify unique ways to offer a variety of levels for sponsor booths.
We used Engagez platform for a webinar series and found it very easy to use and also lots of great features that many others don't have. It allowed us to do a real professional job with great branding and engagement options. Best conversion of a webinar series we've had so far.

Support from the staff was great from the beginning. Ease of implementation also was a key feature.
Live Streaming with Zoom was too difficult for some of our speakers to navigate.

The ease of use, with power-packed features and integrations, has allowed us to deliver distinguishing user experiences for various use cases. It is far simpler to operate and deploy compared to other platforms that we have worked with.
Wish we could have more templates and free designs available for us to use. there isn't much to dislike about the solution, some advanced feature adds requests from the support forum would be exciting.
During the pandemic, we were able to bridge the gap that came in due to restrictions for a physical venue to host meetings and events. Engagez has allowed us to engage e audiences for our clients and help deliver use cases ranging from all-hands meetings, product launches, Exhibitions and interview days. We were able to cater to the evolving needs of our clients to deepen the engagement and bring the experience close to almost in-person meetings.
It really helped some of our clients understand their audiences better through the rich analytics and data. we have been able to drive more revenues and participation for our programs through this approach.
Engagez is quick and easy to set up. We find it to be scalable for different event sizes and versatile enough to use for different types of events.
Engagez is perfect for our needs. However, we did have slight trouble with embedding videos.
We have been able to quickly transition in-person recruitment events to virtual due to Covid concerns. In doing so, we realized that the virtual events were much more efficient that in-person with respect to setup and that we were able to reach a much broader audience as there were no issues with travel, etc.

I looked at lots of platforms, and the keys for me were: brand-ability, ease-of-use/flexibility (don't need professional services), ability to monetize an event (ROI/efficient cost), and how much it could integrate with all of our back-end tech (CRM, Registration database, etc.) We selected Engagez after reviewing several platforms. As a B2B Enterprise Event Organizer - it was an obvious choice. Their platform allowed us to have our regular marketing folks do all of the set-up, and empower our sponsors to build their own virtual exhibit booths with minimal help.
I'd like to see a more "sleek" User Interface (UI). Some attendees complained they needed to refresh their Web Browser (best to use Chrome, but it worked well on others).
We needed a Virtual Event platform that was enterprise-grade so that it could accommodate thousands of concurrent attendees. Also, it needed to be readily available on demand. Our team was non-technical, so the fact that it did not require any special skills was important. BIGGEST thing -- many platforms took weeks to set up and had to be "locked down" days or a week in advance of the show - this was a non-starter for us -- we did events every week. We needed exhibitors to be able to self-serve, which is easy in this platform. Engagez was also less expensive than many other platforms, which made it possible for us to pass those savings on to sponsors and still churn out profitable events.
