If you are looking for Android on IoT, Emteria is worh looking at.

I am using Android for my instruments of wine testing. I use Emteria Android that is always up-to-date, easy to use and integrate in my devices.

As other reviewers already mentioned it, Emteria has quite a few strong points. If I'm asked to choose just one, that would be Microsoft Azure support

The activation process could be a bit more simple

The available toolset is vast and really easy to use. Emteria's ecosystem is put together really nicely. Their MDM system offers great flexibility to set up, manage and monitor your devices. Burning the OS can't be any easier, and setting up the system is very straightforward even for non-technical users.

The documentation itself is a tad bit short - which isn't an issue if you are an experienced android developer.

If you are looking for OEM android software without any bloatware, easy rollout and highly configurable image, Emteria's Android is what you are looking for.

Emteria gives me a long-time supported Android for Enterprise use that can be remote administrated.

No dislikes discovered so far. I hope more and more features will be added.

I rolled out 300 devices distributed over the whole country. We can update them remotely. The Android version is customized so that only required applications are running.

The best I like Emteria OS Remote capabilities and visibility for each device through MDM Portal. You can easily see the status of your running devices which are located around the globe. There is an extensive list of commands that you can send remotely from your browser to any chosen device as simple as reboot itself, change OS configuration, install or remove apps, close or open any installed app, pull log files, submit a bug report, etc. There is an embedded VNC server that is protected with the password and could be (de)activated remotely as well. It gives you the ability to control the screen of any selected device.

You can also preconfigure your OS settings and download Emteria OS with specifically pre-selected settings and configuration.

Customer support is outstanding as well.

So far so good. We didn't encounter any specific issues.

The best I like about emteria is it's flexibility. It adapts how I want to use it providing me with various options to modify my project. It provides a high level of security, which is one of the most important factors.

The license cost for emteria is a bit on the higher side which makes a low-budget project a little difficult to go with. It took a lot of time for me to learn emteria as there are various things I had to learn to adapt to it.

It provides a stable operating system with security features which helped me work at a faster pace and reduced my engagement time in a particular project. It helped me with a proper hardware selection that was compatible with my project idea which resulted in saving money. All tools and libraries are under one platform which makes developing applications very faster and easier.
