I like that it send regular reminders for employees to sign up for benefits. Its gives them the option to change aspects during the year such as adding a child, spouse, etc. From an HR perspective, it's easy for me to see what plan(s) employees have elected, what their deductions should be and when they are eligible, with just a few clicks of the mouse. We do have a 3rd Party Administractor who loads our benefit information into it. I simply add and terminate employees and check to see what benefits they have elected for Payroll purposes.
I wish the reporting features were a bit more customizable. Everytime I've tried to print a report for a variety of reasons, it doesn't have exactly what I am looking for.
As soon as an employee is hired, I enter their information into Employee Navigator. From there, they are given constant reminders to elect or deny benefits up until the month they are eligible. Once they elect benefits, our 3rd party Administrator adds them to the necessary plans. The same goes for when an employee terminates. Its one less thing I have to worry about, making sure everyone signs up on time, gets added/delected to/from the insurance, etc. This way employees can see all of their options in one place and it's paperless.
I like how easy navigator is to use. Once groups are set up it looks very clean and easy for clients to use!
The only thing I dislike is the help feature sometimes doesn't respond with an answer but that's not really every a problem because the support team always responds quickly and they have always answered my questions.
It has made setting up clients for them to select benefits very easy.
Employee Navigator gives the brokers AND the clients the keys for success. As we drive the site programming process and educate the clients on how best to utilize their platform, it isn't just a tool for us, but for them too. Employee Navigator's cutting edge approach to carrier integrations with discrepancy reporting, payroll integrations with some Single Sign On capabilities. ACA compliance reporting through Nelco and an Onboarding feature that eliminates manual processes to name a few, this allows effienciency to flow to the agency and the client. Who doesn't want to save time and money. Accuracy is ensured with the integrations and discrepancies identified before your client realizes there is an issue. Shine above the rest by taking your client's expectations to the next level.
The EOI submission and approval process could be streamlined better. Currently it is a manual process except for 1 or 2 carriers. If the employees could complete the EOI document from a link to the carrier's site, that would eliminate the delay and confusion of how to fill out the form and who to give it to, whether it be the employer or the broker. Having a way for the EOI approvals to flow through from the carrier to EN as an attachment to the pending "Things to Do" record, might help those HR users to fill in the information correctly. Big Wish.
Streamlining the benefit enrollments of our clients - creating better reporting and tracking of completion during OE / Processing eligibilty by using wall notifications or carrier integrations - takes the burden off the client / Giving our clients resources to be more efficient and technology based - onboarding creates an electronic checklist with time/date stamps & creates an easy way to track benefits for their employees / Helping our clients with aca reporting - less stress for the client / Enabling us to program complicated contributions schedules or benefits for different groups - we are their solution when it comes to technology.
All employee information is easily accessible in one place
Sometimes it's hard to get a report to meet the needs of what I am searching for
You can review an employee's benefits and other information regarding their chosen plan in one place
Employee Navigator is the key to our Group Benefits success. I love the smooth implementation and enrollment process, as well as the great customer service they have. I have never waiting longer than 20 seconds for a team member to pick up and answer my usually dumb questions.
There are a few forms I wish we would be able to download for paper implementation.
Employee Navigator has solved many problems for me. I love the reports to send to my groups that shows them a clear picture of where they are.
My employees can use it without any formal training.
The reporting needs to be revamped, it's challenging to create the exact information required.
Benefits enrollment
The system is very easy to navigate from a build perspective and employee perspective.
Having to Set New Hire complete individually for new site builds.
Employee Navigator helps us retain customers by continually making improvements.
The best part is all of the different carriers and resources that are connected. I used to be presenting benefits to my clients, now I am offering a whole package.
The one area I hope Employee navigator improves is the usability. For myself and the clients using it, it can be a little too techy comapred to some platforms that are more basic and user friendly.
Employee Navigator is helping with penetration and participation within our groups. We are offering more product lines to more employees, increasing our bottom line. In the long run our persitency rates will be better as well. Clients will not be likely to change due to we can offer multiple carriers without needing much effort.
The interface is easy to "navigate" for users with all backgrounds. The product is consistently enhanced with insight from the community. They have multiple integration options with carriers, vendors, and payroll providers. It is one of the best benefit admin technology systems on the market.
Certain enhancements have been placed on the backburner because other ideas and issues take priority. It would be great if they had a team revisit these to truly make the product even stronger.
Employee data efficiency, security, ability to import and easily extract data, ability to integrate with carriers, vendors and payroll providers

It's so user friendly and our team at EBMG make working with the system that much easier. It also intergrates with Paycor seemlessly so our full cycle of status changes, onboarding, etc. has been so much more efficient.
Honestly I don't have any complaints about EN.
Our employees can enroll and view their benefits all in one place and us as admin can do the same.
