The tool is straightforward to use. It gives you all the data you need to test and improve your emails. Running the email rendering test and tracking the email is simple and easy. The cost of the tool is reasonable.
I have not found anything I did not like so far. I hope their email rendering test can be run quicker, but it is not so bad that I would give a negative feedback.
We wanted to check what devices and browsers our email recipients use to open and read our emails. We also wanted a tool that could generate tracking codes quickly.
The best part of email on acid is email and spam testing.
I think some clients are missing, and older versions of os are retired.
Email on acid allows you to see what your emails look like on many different clients and platforms.
Good tool to do email previews. It has inbuilt features to check image size, URL checks, Spelling errors and Spam blocks. This is very useful.
Email test profiles can be created by an individual but can not be applied at the project level.
Good tool to test email previews.
We mainly use Email on Acid to preview emails across mobile devices and email clients. This helps to ensure there are no email rendering issues in major mobile devices and email clients.
I most like how easy it is to use. Paste in your code, look at some images and you're good to proceed with your email communications to constituents with the comfort of knowing your email will look great.
I wish there was a way to tweak code and then retest without having to create an entirely new document in the system. It's a bit time-consuming. And some of the preview images take ages to load.
We have a massive email list and our users use all combinations of devices, browsers and email providers. Without Email on Acid, it would be impossible to be certain that recipients are getting the email as intended.
I love the inbox previews & double checking links and alt text.
The only thing I dislike is if the service is ever down, but it normally isn't!
Solving inbox previews for multiple different platforms.
Email on Acid is a great tool that helps us to ensure our emails look great no matter who receives them. It is a critical part of our email checklist and allows us to make creative and coding changes, pushing the limits of email design whilst removing any fear that this will cause havoc in certain inboxes (Outlook not looking at you!). There are many vendors that offer this solution but Email on Acid is very easy to use, constantly providing great education on email coding in general and transparent in their pricing.
Sometime the email rendors take time to load - but that's just nitpicking.
Before we used Email on Acid we were shooting in the dark (or dark-mode) on what our emails would look like across various email clients. To our shock and horror when we began to use it we realised that the great looking emails on our Macs or in Gmail were an absolute disaster on hugely popular email clients. Email on Acid has allowed us to ensure everyone can see our emails regardless of client, OS or device. The coding tool is also super useful for designing third party vendor emails where we want to remove any coding related to our Marketing Automation System.
Ease of use of the service. New functionalities.
For old customers they discontinued their pricing tier.
Email Marketing campaigns previsualization. Better user experience.
Email on Acid has been a huge help for our email team. We have been able to catch Outlook errors and fix them before sending out to our clients!
We haven't encountered anything that we currently dislike!

I've used Email on Acid for years, and find it to be a critical tool for our email marketing program. Viewing and actual rendered version of an email in the most common inbox providers is invaluable when troubleshooting to ensure a perfect user experience for each subscriber. What displays fine in one browser client may not in another and vice versa. EOA takes the guessing out of the equation. What's better is that EOA provides recommendations for how to fix or edit the code to display correctly in many outlying instances. This is very helpful when troubleshooting. We don't use the templates, however they do offer many free downloadable templates which make coding a fluid-responsive email super easy for non-technical marketing folks. I would highly recommend Email on Acid to any email marketing team.
The only downside of Email on Acid is the price. Would love it if there was an option for inbox rendering without any other features that could be a cheaper alternative for marketing teams on a very tight budget.
Inbox rendering continues to haunt email marketers. EOA helps solve nuance code requirements of the many various browsers and inbox clients. Lately we've also benefited from the dark-mode coding tips and tools.
