We worked with Elexio to get our counseling website up and running. The software was easy to use and we were able to tailor it in order to work with our needs. Such needs included: a directory of users, library of resources, interactive maps, and other standardized webpages. Throughout the entire process we also found Elexio's support team to be very friendly, available and helpful.
Overall, I can't really think of too many dislikes or complaints. The only thing that would have been helpful is if this had a billing component where we could keep track of credentials/logins/information. We had to implement another software for that. There also is not a ton of flexibility with design, but they have plenty of templates and the templates they do have really helps with keeping all of your organization's content clean, consistent as well as concise.

Since our church moved to using Elexio online database it was a learning curve to figure out how it was from the older version but I love the ability to access our database, send emails, check sign ups all from my computer or even my iPhone. It makes being productive so much easier.
Right now what I dislike is the check in system shows all of our church groups and confuses people because of the mass amount of groups they can check into. For example we have 2 different groups our students can check in to, one for Wednesday and one for Sunday, and no matter when they can check in to both of those plus have to look through all the other groups in the church. But what we have done is purchased iPads to have our guest service team check in our adults and students and kids. We ask our group leaders to check in their groups and it works through their personal account in the app and our guest service team uses the check in app.
Talk with their support team and see if this is what would benefit your church. They have come a long way and have improved greatly. It has become a crucial tool for our team to stay connected with our people and help them stay connected with us. Also the online giving has been great during this COVID season. It has allowed us to be completely digital with our people.

The overall usability of the database is fantastic. They have a free mobile app in addition to their online portal that you can use anytime and anywhere. The mobile app and website are very user-friendly. We enjoy the ability to create groups, utilize attendance features, implement "workflows" to help take out the mundane task-work and make our processes much more automated (namely event registration).
We had some issues with duplicates at the beginning and would highly recommend the coaching that they provide to help you avoid some mistakes that we made early on. As with any database, there is a learning curve but we found this one to be manageable.
I would highly recommend you utilize their coaching. It is worth the cost and will help you avoid some painful mistakes early on that are difficult to fix: namely email username set-up and family set-up. The quality of support has been good, even as we experienced a few glitches that we experienced they were very prompt in fixing the issues.
We have been able to create specific groups for our children's and youth ministries that has greatly helped us track attendance and follow-up with families that have been missing multiple weeks. Through their integration with MailChimp, we are also able to provide much better communication.
Continuous improvements to the tool, ease of use, many tools in one location, giving reports
Improvements are not always well communicated in advance. There used to be regular product roadmap updates however that has been eliminated recently. Functionality around member records...in particular when a person is marked as deceased, there is a bunch of follow-up to be done in Groups that should be automatic...ie...someone passes away. They should immediately be inactivated from groups and the user should be prompted to change family mailing names, etc.

Its fairly easy to use and it gets the job done.
I dislike the layout since it's not very appealing.
I think its a good software to use but it lacks some of the features i'd like to see.
I use it to manage data and keep simple data sheets for information I need.

Event management has for a long time been problematic to the firm but once this app was introduced, every even management has been smoothly done.
