Elcom is building a new intranet to meet the needs of our staff. The intranet includes a full auditable policy library that will make auditing our work so much easier.

The support from the sales team, project managers and ongoing support desk, is second to none. The help desk are so approachable and helpful and quick to resolve any issues.

The CMS is easy to use and the ability to train users with little experience to update their content.

The ability to interface with many other products and display content on the page, so users still feel they haven't left the site.

In V10 sometimes the tables layout is a little tricky and doesn't always display as I hope for, but I believe this has been fixed in V10.5 - along with lots of other great new features!

Elcom have proven to be a responsive partner in all of our recent web initiatives. The basic product is comprehensive and with the addition of special-purpose modules and connectors, their solutions have been affordable yet competitive for building our Intranet and websites that require integration with our corporate applications. The content editor is actually fun to use. The cost-saving option of sharing modules across multiple ElcomCMS sites is a winner. Their trainer is excellent. Their after-sales support matches the quality of their pre-sales support. In particular, their Help Desk is responsive and dedicated to fixing your issues. Their CMS is updated regularly to meet client needs.

Some of the reference documentation is thin if you are trying to learn how to make a module or connector perform as you wish. Working examples should be included to help you through the configuration process. The Form Creator is somewhat kludgy and not yet up to the standard of other competitors that use WYSIWYG. The formatting of column widths in Forms and TRIM container displays are not controllable and often require the intervention of Elcom support staff. There is no built-in email encryption to help fend off spam bots.

Include Elcom in your short list. They are small enough to be flexible for smaller organisations and budgets yet big enough to tackle internationals' web requirements.

In local government we must be WCAG 2.0 standards-compliant so the addition of the Ephox editor was essential for our public-facing websites. This alerts non-HTML-conversant staff when their content is not compliant and provides advice on how to remedy the problem. The HP-TRIM connector allows us to follow our aim of maintaining TRIM as our "single source of truth" for our work document storage. We now have 26+ staff trained as elcomCMS Publishers so that we are able to more easily cover for the absence of key staff that maintain our various websites.

Complete control over everything, ease of use, everything is self contained and allows us the freedom to set things up the way we want without having to get our IT department involved.

I find it hard to come up with words for this, there is nothing I dislike.

It's just great. Like Wordpress, it gives you access to create and fix and edit whatever you need to.

So far, we are at the early stages, so these kinds of things haven't been addressed fully; however, this system will allow us to integrate our marketing and website, and those two things will begin to work as a symbiotic relationship rather than two separate and distinct entities. I like that it is easy to create and publish content quickly. There are some nice modules that facilitate workflows and the Administrator functions are easy to understand and use.

Our team has changed and we received training of new team members quickly. They are now able to publish.

We have found the Elcom platform to be very comprehensive with the ability to customise, which was essential to our diverse organisation.

We found there were some delays during the implementation process.

Know your main goal and discuss with the Elcom Team how they can make this happen. Be clear about what you are wanting to do and aware of possible customisation on costs.

The Elcom platform is helping us communicate vital information in a very uncertain journey through the pandemic. This has made us more aware of our need to streamline our communication processes to ensure staff engagement.

The stylish and simple design has made our site eye-catching and easy to use. Elcom provided a great design to ensure our intranet quickly became the go-to resource and core of our Digital Workplace Experience.

Elcom is supportive and goes out of their way to assist with our development and ongoing upgrades. The Help Desk support is fast, friendly and knowledgeable.

Base CMS system has excellent functionality coverage and the ability to add extra modules makes it very versatile. Pricing is reasonable.

Pricing is excellent considering the functionality that you receive from just the base product. Once you start adding in the additional modules, you can get an impressive system for a much lower cost than most other systems.

We are revamping our intranet site and rolling out a knowledge base. The elcom CMS will add much needed functionality for the staff.

The ElcomCMS is very comprehensive, in fact it can do far more than we are using at present…limited more by my knowledge than that of the system – however we are very happy with the service and functionality that ElcomCMS has provided for our website. Our Account Manager is proactive and highly responsive to all our needs, and their Help Desk is supportive, fixing any issues that we encounter in a timely manner. The new and improved features and functionality are added to the CMS on a regular basis.

Once you know how to use the system, it’s pretty easy to publish content and administer the site – even for a novice like me.

There are several features, but I think I like the widgets.

The preview tools and customization is not easy.

The support team is very easy to work with and the software is very easy to learn.

The business problems are mainly customization.
