I started using Ekata when it was called WPP (White Pages Pro). With one click I can verify the information matches the order I'm reviewing for possible fraudulent activity. It gives information on the phone number, address and verifies if the email is valid.

It's accurate only 70% of the time. I've been able to find the info I need utilizing free tools sometimes.

It's easy to use and fairly accurate when compared to other tools. It saves time because it's a one stop shop.

Identity Review - Most helpful at looking at all angles of customer/address verification. Using the Identity search has been very useful tool as opposed to search by individual field, ie: address, phone or person, business. International searches have also improved.

Would like to see more consistent information from Canada and Mexico. Most of the information will show up as a valid address or location but there is not enough information about the address: who is listed there whether it be a person or business. Still limited information on international searches.

One of the biggest issues I see is with visibility on customer emails. The email search is has the most consistent information I have seen compared to other research tools. Very helpful in narrowing down which customers to contact via email and how much I can trust the contact.

I love the easy to read score. It gives at-a-glance Green Yellow Red zones that can help you decide if you need to investigate further. So much information is provided with links to see street views of addresses. IP address location, how long an email has been in service and who it is registered to. I love the new volatility information at the bottom of the page as well. If you are having a hard time determining the information this tool can offer some further clarification. The scores can be easily understood

There isn't anything I dislike. This product is so user friendly and easy to understand. This tool makes fraud determination so easy. We don't have to worry and guess as much as we were previously. I cannot think of one downside. The benefit we receive from Ekata in preventing fraud loss more than pays for the product itself. I would say one thing is perhaps provide multiple seat discounts on pricing. This could help drive more people to provide seats for their entire team.

It is so easy to use. Your team will not have to be expert data analysts to understand the information being presented.

This is a huge tool to help us determine fraud orders. It has helped us cut our fraudulent orders down by quite a bit. We use it several times a day. Fraud is a huge issue with ECommerce companies. This tool clearly outlines a fraud score and shows a volatility rating at the bottom. It eliminates guess work and gives stats as to why you should or should not ship that order.

I love that is assigns a number score and provides color to support it for visual effect. So many great features for fraud prevent I do not even know where i would begin. The product is superior to other competitors.

We use this tool for fraud prevention, it really helps us to find out information about the customers in a simple way.

We use Ekata's Identity Review tool in two ways.

1. Our analysts will use the tool during their manual review process. Ekata presents the data in an easily digestible yet insightful way that allows my team to make informed decisions in an efficient manner while minimizing risk to the business and our customers.

2. We use Identity Review in our highest-risk profile within our rule-based engine to determine an accept/review response. The tool is fantastic for making sure that our review queue is as fraud-rich as possible.

Honestly, I do not have anything negative to say about Ekata. The tool is immensely useful to our analysts and the Ekata staff has always been incredibly responsive and receptive to feedback.

We utilize Ekata primarily for our manual review staff as well as in one of our high-risk profiles within our decisioning engine. Ekata provides immense efficiency for our analysts as it presents all of the relevant data in an easy-to-consume and actionable fashion. It also helps us factor in to our rules-based decision engine.

User friendly tool, with a wealth of data to assist fraud prevention users with authentication and analysis. Comprehensive results on email/ip/address/phone/name and more, with the ability to expand the search of all data points and link more data to them.

Great customer assistance program with exceptional receptivity to feedback, which produces consistent product improvement.

We heavily rely on the score given by Ekata, has allowed us to reduce our review rate, false positives and catch bad actors faster and easier. The insight on emails, addresses is very comprehensive.

Integrating with their API is easy and intuitive, even with other third party fraud vendors.

IP address data is basic, I know they are working on improving this and look forward to seeing great features in the near future. Coverage in latin american markets is increasing, not full yet but really looking forward to it.

Work closely with your account manager, send them fraud outcomes regularly so that they can provide insights on how to tweak your rules and get the best out of the product, these solutions require attention and detail in order to get the best out of them.

Embedding the Ekata score and detailed responses onto our fraud ruleset, train our analysts on how to interpret the data and make the best use of it.

Not much to dislike - however there’s definitely room for improvement with Canadian content.
