Keysight Eggplant is about more than software products. It is about people. And from top down, my personal experience is that there is no one in the industry that is as good as the Eggplant staff.

Actually, there is nothing. I only wish that we had connected years ago. That would have made our work lives much easier.

A few of the major benefits are:

1. We have a dynamic Agile environment. Changes during the Development Cycle are frequent. Automated Testcases can be quickly created, and then edited when needed.

2. Using the Modeling feature, we have increased test coverage. And this provides a visual model that Stakeholders can easily understand.

3. Our primary products are complex Embedded Systems. With Applications supporting them. In this world we also have some proprietary automation tools. Eggplant has easily integrated with them giving us more robust system testing.

4. We have automated complex setup tasks that manually took days. These suites now take hours to execute when using Eggplant.

5. Ramping up a Test Team for Automation testing is always a challenge. Eggplant training is superb!

Keysight provided a fantastic handover experience where they guided me along setting up the entire framework, providing me with support, and offering suggestions on how to future proof issues.

Keysight has not quite brought the Eggplant Tool into the modern era, still relying on a suite of applications, rather than a web app.

We needed a way to test end-user machines throughout a global firm. Eggplant provided us with an easy to use tool that provided great insight as to how the Health of our end user experience was.

There are a number of upsides about Keysight Eggplant but two of these stand out; namely, the Coding language which is English, and the AI tool known as the OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION(OCR).

Keysight Eggplant is an extremely comprehensive and complex tool which ticks all the boxes for the perfect Software Test Automation tool but the only dislike is the monochrome nature of it's LOGS in the Digital Automation Intelligence tool as well as the inability to seamless convert these .csv files to .xml where a .xls can be incoorperated to obtain a more pleasent report for test automation runs.

Keysight Eggplant is reducing the time used it testiong our softwares hence reducing the time of version releases to the customer. It is also allowing us to find various typed of bugs early in the software creation process. With the help of machine Learning and The AI, Keysight Eggplant is allowing us to come up with various user jurneys which under normal circumstances these jurneys will not be explored.

1. Resource Intensive: Like many testing tools, Eggplant Functional might be resource intensive, especially while running tests on complex applications or in large-scale testing environments.

I love that we can make simple, common scripts that mimic real user/tester behavior, and then use those scripts to quickly build new test scenarios. We have also been able to quickly grow to cover many versions of GUI and WEB software via automated tests using built-in functionality that Eggplant offers. We regularly run full sets of automated tests against every release, leaving testers freer to be creative in extra manual testing.

The ability to very quickly train many people over the years to use the tools, often with no programming background is nearly invaluable This allows testers (who are not interested in being developers because it is a different skill set) to make useful automated tests directly, which is something I have found lacking in most other tools I have used.

Finally, the product has continued to grow and become more and more robust. Often, taking direct customer support questions and feedback and incorporating it into new software releases.

It would always be great if there were more integration with other tools such as GIT for example. But it is hard to even call that a dislike, because we are covering so much more in each test round due to easy to create test scripts.

We can quickly and confidently verify that new versions of our software have not suffered any regression in primary functionality. This allows our testers to focus more attention on new functionality and bug fixes, while getting releases out with more confidence in quality and with greater velocity.

Model based Testing and usage of AI for our testing needs. Eggplant helps to automate the whole testing process and also helps in monitoring insights post production and also do load testing. It also helps me to schedule and maintain test assets in a single place. Detailed logs are provided along with test evidence which is completely cloud based, helping me to share the reports to any one without any issues. It also helps me with the analysis of application usage post production and giving me insights into how the application is being used by end user and also bring in that information back into testing so that we can focus testing on areas where customers are using the application. And Eggplant also talks about customer experience optimisation rather than just making application bug free.

I could not find anything to dislike in the whole DAI suite. I would recommend this tool to all QA community. This tool allows to automate all the applications which has UI and it can do API and data base testing.

Use the whole DAI product suite to get the maximum benefits out of the tool. Create the models first which is a digital twin of the application and then create automation snippets in Eggplant fusion engine. This approach can be used to maximise benefits from the tool

Eggplant I have used to solve my problems in automating my application and Eggplant is the only tool which can automate any user story and also replicate human behaviour. It helps to automate not only regression test cases but also exploratory test cases which reduced a great burden on our manual testers, making it a complete solution. Automation testing in general, will not bring in human intuition that a manual tester brings in and Eggplant is the tool that will fill the gap by using AI to bring in the human intuition into Automation testing and identify defects in application faster and in a more effective way.

Tool is based on image based testing, and for health care related testing wherein every image has to be accurate and precise this serves as a great tool

Sometimes the test fails if the location of the image on the screen changes

One of the benefits is tat you don't have to have an enormous knowledge on coding, as it's quite user friendly in terms of learning new technology

I really appreciate the simplicity for scripting in Eggplant Performance for performance test based scripts. The ease of doing Correlation and Parameterization is appreciable.

Eggplant has brought everything together for making a complete performance testing tool.

1. Eggplant lacking the monitoring aspect of the APM, which is a major requirement for Performance testing

I used a combination of Eggplant functional and Eggplant performance studio to perform mobile application testing for Ipads, and I was really impressed with the ease of using Eggplant.

Eggplant is really useful for drawing n creating flow diagrams which is beneficial for users without technical experience. The interface is user friendly n it is very cool in identifying objects. So to create an end to end scenario it is not a big effort in Eggplant.Functional automation testing for end to end scenarios is really convenient.

I would say the only downside is the cost. May be you can have separate categories so that user can select the optimum one preferably with less cost based on his/her usage

Eggplant is useful for both web and mobile applications.The art of reusability for automation is aptly leveraged in Eggplant.Convenient for both Apple n Android devices
