communication and staying top of the mind with prospect
The best thing is the ability to review recorded videos with A.I. to capture word count, language use, persuasive wording, The ease of use is great too.
Some of the buttons do not have a label and I have to click on it to find out what it does. This seems to be a trend with a cleaner GUI interface that young folk find more appealing than some of us "seasoned" people.
Allows me to easily record and edit vides without needing extensive video editing skills.
Dubb is a communications platform extraordinaire, Easy to set up, make, and publish your videos on many different forms of media like your email, print using URLs and QR Codes, and social media sites. Then you have the Dubb Mobile App, which is just for me a small form factor of a video recording, post-production, and distribution studio that I conveniently carry with me everywhere. Why write a boring text-only email reply to your prospects and clients when you can send an emotionally charged live video that will have a more significant impact on your prospect, client, or customers.
The only real thing that I dislike is when you think you have the tool and system mastered, then the video wizards at Dubb come out with some new functionality that I have to learn, but then, is that really such a terrible thing if at the end of the day it helps make you better in your video marketing mastery?
The problem that Dubb helps me solve is getting "attention." Grabbing the attention of prospects, customers, and even long-time relationship clients in this fast-moving attention-deficit world is being more difficult by the day. So it would help if you had a way to better get and then hold someone's attention to get your message across, and to do that, video has become my medium of choice. Most people are used to watching things more than reading, so they pay greater attention. Maybe it derives from the fact that video uses multi modalities of both sight and sound, which is far more captivating than just reading some emotionless text.
I love the simplicity. Every video I create is unique and the person I send it to who watches it always responds favorably. It's easy to use and I look like a professional everytime I use it.
I was not able to leverage the screen record. When I attempted each time my audio would cut out. I did reach out to support and they helped me attempt to solve my issue but it never worked. I use something else for screen record.
Communication is vital When I can't be there in person to say Congratulations, Happy Anniversary, or Welcome to EXIT Realty, I use Dubb. It always delivers my message with absolute clarity and the emotion the recipient gets to see it a bonus!
Creating video campaigns for outreach and onboarding, as well as communicating with clients through email, is one of my favorite things about Dubb. It has also a powerful analytic feature that enables me to track the performance easily.
The only thing I wish Dubb had is a custom domain option. Despite the subdomain feature, I wish a custom domain had been added.
My goal was to create videos for outreach and client sales, with a clean user interface, that I could embed into email marketing campaigns. My needs were met by Dubb.
I have lots of videos I've created and it's super easy to upload them and get captions for them in Dubb! The UI is easy to navigate even for a first-time user. I'm a solo shop so there is a lot to learn, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what Dubb can do. The help files are helpful and the videos of the steps use Dubb so it familiarizes me with what's possible while I learn the steps for answering my question. The implementation directions are clear. Once I feel I've learned more about the system I can see that being able to record inside Dubb will remove a couple of steps in the process I'm moving away from.
I'm excited about how Dubb will eliminate several steps from my old process. the need to manually create videos, then download and upload them to different locations. After getting used to Dubb, this isn't a serious dislike anymore, I just had to learn a new process. (My old process was to upload to an app to edit, download, then reupload to the location I want the video. Pretty tedious.)
The thing that was frustrating to me at first, was not being able to download my video with captions for use outside of Dubb. Then, I explored the ways to use Dubb's embed code.
Dubb is going to allow me to communicate with my audiences with video more quickly and easily. Video is my preferred medium and Dubb allows me to use video to connect with people quickly, easily, and authentically. Before I would create a video and try to get people to go to the video. With Dubb, I can send the video to people directly. (I'm a slow and cautious adopter, so I started with pasting videos into a few emails video to test with people. Next, I'll explore the calls to action and get people onto a call with me. The next thing I'll explore will be the hosting which I think will be very useful as I move forward.
While there's a lot of choices in Dubb's UI, it does a LOT to step you through their toolkit.
Tons of guides and examples too and a big community of users make life for newbees a lot easier.
This is a really clever tool taking advantage of technology in a smart way.
It also capitalises on what's working online today - VIDEO.
The only downside is if you have trouble performing in front of a camera. But if you can present, and if your a sales person, that should be second nature.
Lots of functions aren't always clear and their benefit lost to new users.
Could do with better UI design to make pathways clearer.
Deeper help files, but it makes up for this with lots of video examples.
Dubb helps you personally connect with potential clients using a format that feels natural online.
It makes repetitive sales messaging easy and direct while still feeling personalised.
Dubb is an incredible tool. I purchased it a few years ago as an LTD from appsumo, and it didn't have many functions besides the core premise of generating videos for cold emails. It did that well and provided accurate analytics and tracking. Over the years, they have expanded to include dozens of features, including cal integrations, pixel tracking, CRM hookups, call tracking, its own sales opportunity system, and more. It's rare to see a tool expand it's functionality so far outside what was initially promised, and as an early user, it's appreciated. I got it as an LTD, but it's pricing is still on par with other tools, if not cheaper.
I honestly don't have anything I can complain about, it's built the same level of features as other video sales tools, supports GIF previews and all the things that are important to me. I was an early user so I got a lifetime price as well.
It helps us better communicate a complicated product benefit to a skeptical marketplace using video as a medium. It's helped to increase our outreach close rates and get more show ups.
Before using dub, I used Loom occasionally when I would reach out to you prospects or candidates (I'm a digital marketer as well as a recruiter). While it was useful, it was limited and it was never branded for my business. With that said, I first picked up Dubb soon after they launched, and I was able to create amazing looking landing pages, and send videos via LinkedIn messenger as well as email to my prospects. Best part, all branded to me and looking super-slick and professional.
That's number one, but I also really love the customer service. Around the summer of 2020 we wanted to have the video link preview operate like a GIF in the LinkedIn inbox. A friend of mine (who started using Dubb based on my recommendation), contacted their support to ask if they could do it, and within a week it was done. So now, 2 years later, you can send a Dubb video url through LinkedIn, and it will automatically GIF it. That little change greatly increased our click rate, but the best part is…they actually responded to our request and immediately made the update. I was really impressed how much they listen to their customers, and how fast they implement. It's really rare to see a company that responsive to their user base, that's yet another reason why I will be a Dubb customer for life.
None at all. I really racked my brain trying to think of what I don't like, but I really can't think of a single thing that I don't like about the software.
It greatly increases the response from potential clients as well as potential candidates. It's also great when I want to communicate quickly with my team.
