Ease of login - SSO options available, tons of great resources, easy for teachers to manage and use

It has been super helpful during virtual learning and having students work through things independently, it also has quality content that you know is accurate

What is great about Discovery Education is the current and relevant content related to all academic areas for students. The content meets many learning targets and standards and can easily be adapted to meet the needs of different learning levels aside from the already built-in various leveled content. My students are highly engaged when we use Discovery Education across the curriculum as it provides many real-life videos, photos, and texts.

The site does require that you play around with it ahead of time to understand how to use the content and prepare ahead of time for the students to know what they will be able to do with the materials.

I highly recommend all teachers, especially secondary, add Discovery Education to their toolbox for lessons as it provides engaging and meaningful content to enhance learning.

I really did not experience any problems with using Discovery Education and nothing that warranted me ever having to contact support. The overall benefits of using the programs are that it helps to enhance the students' engagement in learning various materials.

The thing I like most about Discovery Education is the vast amount of videos and resources available for every subject for every grade. I can assign videos and quizzes easily, and it will automatically grade the quizzes.

There is not anything I dislike about Discovery Education. It is very user-friendly for both the educator and the students. My students love the available videos.

The problems I am solving are that these videos, lessons, and quizzes help me teach in a very engaging and exciting way.

I love how easy it is to search for what you need. There are many options to explore a variety of topics, and there is something suitable for every grade level. The amount and variety of resources makes it easy to differentiate for your students. There are also many options for students to interact with content and share their learning.

I would like to see the Techbooks available for more age ranges, especially for math content in elementary grades. I would also like to see more online interactives.

Add the techbooks if you can. They are a great resource for students and teachers aligned to standards.

Accessing good, quality online content. Sharing quality resources with my students. Sharing background content with students. I love the ability to search for content aligned to specific content standards, especially in science, math and ELA.

Discovery Education is great to use with education!

Discovery Education has a new dashboard, and has revamped their site. It is much more user friendly

I like using Discovery Ed as a research tool for the students. I can find an assign videos for students to view as they take notes on topics we are learning.

I don't know what I dislike about it. I like all of it.

I am able to use it as a virtual teaching tool.

Discovery Education offers a ton of science lesson plans, activities, and resources for elementary teachers. The content is standards-based and easy to integrate into any classroom.

Unfortunately the national science standards used don't always match our Mississippi state standards, but there are still plenty of resources that can be adapted.

Even if you don't use Discovery Ed as your main science curriculum, it provides a vast library of videos, images, activities, etc that can supplement any science framework.

Discovery Ed solves the problem of having to search the internet for science lesson plans since we don't use a science textbook at our school. The site is user friendly and offers a wide array of lessons and activities. It also has lots of good videos that are content-related.

This online tool is an excellent educational resource for both students and teachers.

I love the videos that are embedded into DE and I love the animation movies about different personalities.

Some videos are too short and I wish they were more detailed and informative.

I highly recommend DE to educators and parents as well.

I am an English teacher and needed a good lesson to teach the background of "Of Mice and Men". Discovery Education had several great lessons about the 1930's and the Dust Bowl. I was able to find a worksheet and a video that was high interest.

The best part of this program is the plethora of activities and resources. In a classroom where differentiated instruction is important because you have so many different learning styles, it is important to have a variety of materials that engage all students. Some of the materials available include worksheets, lesson plans, videos, and graphs.

I would like to have other subjects available, such as English Language Arts. As of now, materials are offered for Math, Science, Technology, and Social Studies.

I’m a teacher and I have utilized this program to show educational videos to my students! They are informative and highly engaging for my young learners.

Some of the videos are very dated and it would be nice if more updated / new ones would be added.

I’m able to supplement my lessons with multimedia presentations through Discovery Education that aid in the learning process for my students.
