DISCO is a well designed and developed system utilized to perform complex searches for legal discoveries. It coveres wide range of document type including but not limitted to inductry standard types of electronic records, scanned records, and images. It is fast and accurate and can process tens of millions of records while searching for complex search criterias. It contains functionality to perform markups and shares within a team of searchers. It entails an advanced database that is impressively fast, reliable, and accurate. Allows for creating a structure for search results to match your legal strategy. I highly reccommend DISCO to anyone trying to make sense of volumnous discovery data .
User's manual could be improved to helop those with no database experience to conduct searches. I have advanced education in Information Technology as well as many many years of experience in the field and thought the manual was a bit rigid for a nontechnical person.
My use was limited to preparation for litigation.
The most important feature of DISCO to me is how user friendly it is. With having past experience with other platforms, DISCO is so much easier to navigate and learn.
The only issues I have had with DISCO are inputting load files for certain document productions. However, DISCO University does offer some assistance in guiding users through load file ingestions.
DISCO is solving the problem of large scale document review, search, and organization. Prior to that, there wasn't much of a solution when it came to larger scale cases with a large volume of documents.
Tag features, metadata available for viewing with each document, and user friendly interface
load file ingestion procedures: there should be more options to upload pre-bates labeled documents for review purposes.
easy review, native productions, privilege logs, and exhibit sets.
I really love DISCO's search feature. They make it really easy to construct searches and find the documents you're looking for.
There wasn't really anything that I disliked about using DISCO. One thing that might improve the experience is providing tutorials or tutorial videos to help figure everything out.
I used DISCO for document review and it was really simple to find the documents I was looking for.
Unlike older, clunkier platforms, DISCO is user-friendly, attractive, and very straightforward to use. I fell in love with it immediately. It is so simple to run your own searches, filter documents, and view review metrics that I rarely need to request that a vendor assist with these tasks, as I can instantly complete them myself.
I have not found any downsides to using the DISCO platform, after having used it on multiple matters. However, DISCO's project managament team is sometimes error-prone and I would reccomend that they focus on QCing results before providing them to attorney teams.
As noted above, I am able to complete tasks faster, more independently (i.e., without relying on the vendor), with greater ease and with less frustration. This has created time and cost efficiencies. I also just genuinely enjoy using the platform more, which is important when spending long hours each day using it!
DISCO is very user-friendly. With a small amount of training, you can get started on your project and the Help topics are very helpful if you cannot figure something out.
I really cannot think of anything I dislike. We have had a great experience with the program and DISCO's customer service.
We have cases that contain a lot of documents and DISCO makes it easy to organize our documents. The search feature really helps us drill down and find the most relevant documents.
It is very easy to pick up how to use the platform. Even some of the hardest tasks are made simple with DISCO e-discovery. Customer Support is very helpful and always willing to step in and assist when needed.
I honestly can't think of anything I don't care for about CSDisco.
Multiple users; ease of use for everyone involved.
It is quite intuitive, and customizable. Standard document review is effortless, and individual users-- if authorized- are able to easily create their own systems for organization/annotation. Reports are simple to compile. Exhibit sets are a breeze. Productions and production templates are also very user-friendly. The customer support is attentive, collaborative, and knowledgeable.
DISCO is not cheap, which makes it difficult for our contingency-based practice. That is all I can say- my prior dislikes have, over the years, been well-addressed by the various improvements to the platform, and it now meets or exceeds our expectations across the board.
There is no way that a practice with 2 attorneys, one paralegal, 3 assistants and assorted co-counsel from other firms would be able to effectively review, analyse, and produce databases of over 1 million documents without a tool like DISCO.
The ease of document management. End users can have complete control from start to finish.
There is little to dislike. Training is provided and professionals are always available to assist. Disco support is fantastic about helping us when we need the extra support or are stuck with an issue
The document review and production process is very simple and manageable. We have complete control from beginning to end, but have the support available if we need it.

The site is user friendly, the staff is extremely responsive, the work is always great.
There is nothing that I really dislike about DISCO.
Processing of voluminous data.
