I love how I got listed in a bunch of different sites automatically after signing up. It's also been helpful to me with getting alerts anytime I get new reviews so that I can quickly respond.
I've been using it for a few months now, and there's nothing I can say that I dislike.
Within a few months of signing up, it's been clear how it's helped my local business rank higher in Google map results, I can see in the analytics on the dashboard how my online visibility score went really high, and the analytics also shows Google analytics of more clicks and phone calls since I've signed up. So, I'd say the problem it solved is my local presence (or, lack thereof prior to using this software).
Our biggest problem as a local business is generating the momentum needed to thrive. It's an arduous process because you need customers to get the reviews and you need reviews to get the customers. Think of how many locations online your business is displayed. Yelp, Google, Bing, the numerous directories online. It's difficult to align them all with the same information. Really makes things a whole lot easier for us.
I can't say there are many cons. The price is affordable and the software gets the job done exactly as needed.
Initially we didn't know what we were looking for. There are so many business directories online. It's very difficult to manage them all. At first, we thought we would hire an agency to do the legwork for us but then upon noticing Direction Local, we found an easy way to manage all of our business listings from one place for a low monthly rate. We have increased revenue tenfold over the past two years with thanks to Direction Local. It's a game changer.
The most helpful part of Direction Local is the automatic listing creation and duplicate suppression. Plus, I like how you can post business updates and/or changes to Facebook, Google and a bunch of other listings.
It would be nice if they had a way to track local rankings in a sense, a bit like how Local Falcon does. But, it's not a huge deal since the rankings are in constant flux dependent on user location and such. But still, if they add that feature, I'll be super happy!

The problem that has already been solved was our overall local rankings. We had moved the company a few times and had listing directories saying we were located in places that we weren't. This platform helped fix all of that, and within a month, we noticed an increase in organic traffic and leads - which I measured via the Google Business Profile directly.
I think it's really cool how easy it is to update your business information everywhere that Direction Local lists you in as well, primarily the updating photos/sales/covid-19 update/news feature where I can upload different types of posts then schedule it out and/or post it to Google, Facebook, Yelp, among others simultaneously.
I don't have anything I don't like, but recommend potentially adding some type of outbound review request feature - that'd be useful.
The price for what you get, it's a no-brainer for any company who wants their local seo and brand presence to be simple to manage.
I'm able to ensure my locations are up-to-date everywhere on the internet through one dashboard, while also being on-top of reviews as they come in. My local visibility has also increased when measuring results via other tools.
