Needed something a bit more flexible and cost effective for my team and after evaluating DevCycle, we felt this would be a good fit for our team. Speaking for my product engineering team, we all love it and they’re constantly shipping well thought out features.
While their experimentation features aren’t fully baked as we expected, they’re building towards what we’d like to see, so that was nice to see.
If you want a thoughtfully designed feature flagging platform without having to sign up for costly multi-year subscriptions, you’ll be delighted with DevCycle.
We’re pushing new code to production daily now, and DevCycle has become the backbone of that process.
DevCycle is now engrained in our feature release process. Their design is well thought out, and their integrations with Github and JIRA have been something our engineering team has come to appreciate in how they help with feature flag hygiene.
There hasn’t been anything that my team has disliked about the product. They’ve really thought through the developer workflow, feature release process and how it plays into Continuous Deployment practices . My dev team has nothing bad to say about the product, so that’s a good thing, and a primary determining factor for rolling DevCycle across all our dev teams!
We had been struggling to transition to a Continuous Deployment process and that transition was made significantly easier with DevCycle. Their tool fit seamlessly into our previous workflow and enabled us to make meaningful process changes, adapting with us along the way.
Allows us to toggle high visibility features and control our feature releases in a way that we expect. Gives us confidence with feature releases with granular roll out capabilities.
Being on the healthcare side, it’s very geared towards technical folks, but my team’s use case isn’t the most typical for this product.
They’re really responsive in terms of helping onboard my team members. Their real-time slack support is very much appreciated.
We can easily swap out workflows that are customizable for clients’ very specific needs via experiments. Also, their HIPAA compliance puts us at ease as we don’t have to worry about sensitive information being passed to them.
Ramping up my web development team was relatively easy with their thorough documentation. Their product was easy to understand and implement. Everything was seamless.
Some of our clients wanted to see some integrations like bitbucket
Great value for the money, especially with experimentation included as well.
We needed a flexible product that our team can use without a lengthy sign up process. We’re able to make our developers and product manager's lives easier with this product, as well as understanding how many people are using a new feature at any given moment with their reporting.
My engineering team has been really liking the product in terms of how easy it’s implement and set up feature flags. Pricing is fair, which is nice too.
There’s a few integrations my team would like to have with some other tools that they don’t have yet
My team really enjoys using this product, and I think other development teams might enjoy using it too.
We’re able to release new features and have the ability to roll back in case anything happens with any of our products. We had to roll back a few features last minute, and it work as expected.

DevCycle keeps a complex problem simple and approachable for the development and product sides of the business. We had the SDK integrated and working in about 5 minutes with another 5 minutes to have it running in production.
It was impossible to share links to specific pages within the dashboard which led to a lot of extra video calls within the team. Update: this has recently been fixed as "Shareable URLs".
Strongly recommend giving it a try. It is so easy/fast to get going. You'll quickly know if it is the solution for you.
We have traditionally built in-house feature flagging (in general, release / ops / permissions etc..) which resulted in more code to manage and a sub-optimal experience for our product team. DevCycle gives us this ability with about 10 lines of code, properly segmented between environments and an interface that empowers our product (and support and ops) teams to participate in the active features.
We have traditionally tied our feature flagging data in with general app analytics. Unfortunately, this made it hard to be accessed and easy to ignore. DevCycle splits it out in an easy-to-digest, accessible way so that we use the data to make business and technical decisions.
Finally, we white-label a product that presents very different feature sets across customers. Moving to DevCycle has solved all of the pain associated with real-time management of features with white-label deployments. It not only avoids the cringe of thinking about showing a customer a feature, but the product team can safely turn a feature on and off during a call.
