Detective.io has the potential to add value to all parts of the sales function. From enriching your CRM to quickly prioritize accounts/personas, finding relevant information to use in outreach, finding initiatives to tie back to objection handling, and increasing efficiency and reducing research time.
Nothing I disliked. Curtis was very helpful and hands-on in ensuring that my team and I had everything we needed and worked to provide us with data points that would be important to us.
Detective's biggest solution is giving time back. Throughout the outreach process, it is very easy to spend too much time conducting research, navigating between tabs, and prioritizing leads to reach out - but with detective, the time saved allows for quick, easy outreach and ensures that you have a variety of specific talking points to speak about with each individual company/persona.
I liked how organized the platform was; from the color-coded tags to the chronological order, the platform was organized and easy to incorporate into my workflow.
I didn't expect it to since each account is so nuanced, but there wasn't up to date content on a few of the accounts I was working

When trying to get quick knowledge and initiatives from a company, it delivers fast and relevant information.
If I had to change one thing, it would be the bar at the top. If it went away on its own when there is no movement, and you can hover mouse on it to bring it down.
When completing cold calls, I can get access to information faster before calling prospects.

I found that not all of the dates were correct on Detective. When clicking on the news article, you can see it was published on a different date than what it says on Detective. Easily fixable, and I don't think this is a huge issue.
Detective is saving me time from doing my own research on a company before reaching out to them. Gaining quick access to relevant news/topics that they are focused on to utilize in my outreach.
Detective saves me at least 5 minutes of my time when I am about to call a prospect. And I usually use it 20 times a day, which adds up to about an hour and a half each, allowing me to focus on other priorities!The best part of Detective.io is how accessible it is while working with it! Simply download the extension, and it will be at the tip of your fingers, at all times, for any task you wish to complete.
Absolutely nothing! Making calls and emailing would be 10x harder without it.
Detective.io is allowing me to be better educated on a prospect when I call or send an email to a prospect. It provides me with key and relevant information that I can speak upon while articles on their company are right in front of me.

Detective was instrumental in automating prospecting and call research. The team is very friendly and responsive and did a great job implementing it in a way that worked for us. The customization ability they have is amazing.
Because it is a manual implementation process, your team has to accurately communicate what they need from Detective. Also, since it relies on Salesforce data it can struggle due to poor data integrity in your SFDC instance.

It works flawlessly with Salesforce. Saves me time vs doing extensive boolean searches on my own.
On occasion it does pull the wrong company's info but usually that is due to incorrect information in salesforce that I have no way of changing at my level.

I like how well this app keeps me connected and helps me gain insights on the people I am meeting with. It provides effortless information that is relevant to my prospects and helps me intelligently approach a scheduled meeting. It is also awesome how it connects with your calendar, so you don't even have to think about researching your business meeting, it just knows your schedule and provides the information automatically.
I wish there was a way to correct the profiles that it links with. Sometimes a contact with have the incorrect twitter linked to my insights and I am unable to adjust this or alter it in any way. I would like to be able to do this so that when I meet with someone more than once, the second time I meet with them I have the correct twitter or linkedin profile connected and it will provide me the correct information for whoever I am meeting with.
I am able to automatically be provided with information regarding the prospects that I am meeting with and this information is able to spark conversation and help me stay relevant. It saves time researching prospects before meetings and helps me to always be informed.

Not in a posh way, but I truly do not dislike anything, especially with its age it's only getting better.
Being able to talk about news-driven company momentum. Such as a C-suite award or something industry specific the company is doing. It's solving that need alongside mitigating time wasted (so it can be done on the fly while cold calling) and thats where the impact is insane. It also lets you customize your searches so you can build a talk track around the intel you find. It's filling the gap that market intel tools and CRM's don't have in my opinion. Since we got logins, our team has been top the last 2 weeks after the detective-driven meetings came in.
