DeployBot just works. Deploying to dozens of servers on different platforms is really hard to do manually. I've used them for clients and myself successfully for a decade plus.
I would like a cli version cuz I'm geeky
Multiple server deployments
Deploybot has increased our productivity dramatically.
Deploybot just works. There are no downsides from where I sit.
As the lone developer of software that runs a handful of local free tool lending libraries, deploying updates had become a time-consuming nightmare. Deploybot has magically added an hour of productivity to my day. A few clicks and the tasks are done. And if I ever screw up (what, me?), rollbacks are just another click away. It’s made a night and day difference.
Easy to set up and get my projects deployed.
Not really anything I dislike. I guess the price could be lower.
It helps to deploy unlimited number of projects to various servers.
Super easy to use; takes the fuss out of CI/CD. We have been using DB for years now and use it to connect to AWS EC2 direct, S3/CloudFront and EB environments. In addition we've used it to connect to DigitalOcean servers and the scaling and deployment options to differing servers and orgs is seamless.
There has been times where we have needed to re-connect an S3 bucket to our Ember builds; has only happened 2-3 times over 5+ years though so not a major problem
Allows us to focus on developing products; more time releasing new features and less time doing CD config and DevOps for product releases which would otherwise be alot more time consuming – allows us to spend our time much more effectively on the things that really matter; product/features/enhancements...
What I appreciate the most about DeployBot is its reliability of the platform and knowledgeable support. Extensive customization for our deployment does not limit our imagination. Great for beginners and advanced users.
For our purpose, I have not come across something that is limiting.
Deploybot helps with the management and costs of a delivery service in-house.
* Support is often fast and well informed
* The service is reliable.
* It is extendable via webhooks
* The UI looks a bit old, but its easy to use.
* Sometimes deployments are "too magic" where you cant see logs of why something failed and need to email support to verify.
* Compiling our software, triggered by Git pushes
* Uploading software to our webhost
* Calling webhooks in other tools
Deploybot has become an integral part of our workflow due to its ease of use and seamless integration with the services we use. Commit, push to Bitbucket, pull open Deploybot, and the latest version of our app is ready to deploy. It handles the update on Elastic Beanstalk seamlessly and allows VERY easy rollback if there's bugs or errors. By far, the fastest site update/CI tool I've used.
Also has an automatic deployment feature based on keywords in the commit, but we don't use this.
Honestly, there is nothing *not* to like here. This service works, works well, has very low friction.
If you:
a) Use Git for version control.
b) Use AWS or Elastic Beanstalk.
Check out Deploybot. It saves countless hours wrangling a CLI interface and handling app upgrades/downgrades, seamlessly integrates your Git setup with your AWS setup, and makes it super easy to keep track of which version you currently have deployed and where.
Primary problem solved is reducing the friction to deploy current version of our app to our servers. this takes minimal time, doesn't have the configuration overhead of the Elastic Beanstalk CLI toolset, and cleanly connects our Bitbucket repository with our Elastic Beanstalk application. It's the missing link.
Deploybot makes deploying code a breeze. It's easy to set up multiple servers to deploy to, there's numerous ways to connect (FTP, SFTP, SSH), and you can integrate with Github, Bitbucket, Gitlab, and self-hosted git servers.
You can select the branch that you deploy from, they can be automatic or manually triggered, and rollbacks, when needed, are simple.
The interface is intuitive and the price is reasonable.
Occasionally the service gets interrupted (DDOS attacks or other internal glitches). These can be really frustrating, when you need to push code out.
Remember that there are times, however rare, that the Deploybot servers are down. Make sure that you have contingency plans, in the event that you NEED to deploy while they are not accessible.
We wanted to manage the deployment of code from within our version control workflow. Deploybot fit the bill perfectly. The price was reasonable and the integration seamless. The result is that our workflow is streamlined and the code that makes it into production is better, so there are fewer errors, and when they do occur, they're more easily handled.

Very easy to use and set up. No major issues. Only had to contact support once or twice in about 10 years. Works great!!
For how we use, there's nothing to dislike
super easy way to deploy code thru ftp and sftp. No need to setup git in another server
