Delibr allows you to organize a single source of truth with your product documents and especially when working with Jira. Without Delibr our product docs were all over the place and difficult to keep in sync with updates that we had made in Jira. After implementing Delibr, our product docs live in Delibr, and our designs can be linked or embedded directly in Delibr. Every change we make is visible from Jira, and any updates are immediately visible to developers.
With the new agile board functionality, it is easy to keep our documents organized. We know, at a glance, the status of each document, who the owner is, and if anyone has too much or too little on their plate. Delibr also allows us to customize a set of metadata for each document to label documents and track them by theme or project.
Additionally, working with the team at Delibr has been a fantastic experience. They are friendly and open to feedback, informative, and very helpful. I am grateful to have seen some of my feedback result in improvements to the product.
I'd like to have a Delibr integration into Azure DevOps eventually.
Our product documentation is so much more organized. Our work in Jira is so much simpler now that we have one place to go for our acceptance criteria and story definitions.
Delibr helps me to take notes about my project follow-ups in a very simple way, connecting everything with my JIRA Issues. I can unify any tech specification with my entire business layer and share everything with my superiors or other managers working with me.
Some details about the interface and the user experience bother me frequently. For example, the dropdown accessed by the blue plus button, on the sidebar, right next to the workspace title, shows me the option to create a new Collection first, when day-by-day, I create much more Documents than Collections, which commonly takes me to miss-click.
Simple application. Easy to use. Clear tasks. And a great Support Team.
Since the pandemics break out, my entire team and I decided to work from home full-time. The lack of social relation, plus the constant changes of the subject along my day, affects my memory every time I need to remember the exact conversation I have in the last project follow-up. I started to use Delibr to take notes not just about the tech specs but to document all these follow-ups.
Outlining allows me to detail exactly what I need and nothing more, and then have it sent directly to Jira tickets. The short and concise text helps our developers focus on what's important. Minimalist software with a small of useful features, very clear design, and UX. I love the full interaction (2-way sync) with Jira - if you are using it, it's a very good tool.
As much as I like the Jira workflow, keep in mind, Jira is the ONLY Integration available. This is a big downside in my view - Moving away from old-fashioned Jira would result in crippling Delibr. Integration with other tools, like Clubhouse, would allow more flexibility. Furthermore, An integration that would allow TODOs to be sent to other software used for day to day task management would be helpful (This additional bucket of incoming tasks prevents me from using the feature)
A small and effective tool that is fun to use and I enjoy. We have a system I'd be happy to recommend where product requirements are written in Delibr, while tech requirements are added in Jira over it. Support is very good. The team is very responsive and does its best to answer queries as quickly as possible.
Long and unstructured text is prone to be misread and partially ignored. Structuring the text in an outliner makes it very clear and concise. It helps our developers complete the tasks.
Product management tool to structure, collaborate, keep track of questions, capture decisions and conversations with a lot of plugin integrations like Jira and Figma.
Mobile view of the web interface is not too handy, expecting a native mobile app for easy access.
It's a product management tool, having product road-map and decision-tracking features with many ready-to-use workflows and templates, also offering a lot of integrations like google apps.
Delibr was easy to use! Fast and easy for note-taking and good for collaboration on topics.
While it was simple to use, the formatting was the most difficult part about it. I couldn't customize the information's format afterward and it was stuck in a "notes" format. Live collaboration was always a little laggy, making writing content within the document harder to keep track of.
If you need software to help with note-taking and general documentation, Delibr is helpful.
We don't use Delibr any longer, but it was good for a time for helping us keep track of our products documentation and ideas.
