Cin 7 is a fantastic stock management product that provides for all our needs; the fantastic assistance received by Husni via the Cin 7 Helpbot has helped me save hours of work by helping to point me in the right direction.
It can be slightly complicated at some stages and the knowledge base doesn't alway answer the questions, lucklity there is agents like Husni to be available and help on point!
Better reporting, although there is still some reporting that we need that can not be offered yet, like a report showing the %discount given per product per sale; but you lukily provide a request feature function where we can log a request for that.
It's a very user friendly software, even if you are new to it, it doesn't take long to get use to it. The fact that allows you to undo many things during your process without screwing your inventory numbers or process is way beyond other softwares that I have used before.
I love the easy way to upload new products, to modify SKUs, prices, names just with uploading a file.
Support team is very fast on replying to inquiries and very accurate on solutions, I had an issue with BOMs last week; i checked many times all the components and couldn't find what the issue was, I reached for support and just one email later I got the solution, specifying what item was creating the problem.
The fact you can access and use the software frrom wherever you are it's awesome.
Still find a little bit hard the discount/deals part of the software, but I understand it must be generic that everybody can apply some sort of discounts and not always I'm going to find excatly the discount builder that I need, so I'm working around to understand it more, and it has worked most of the times.
When joined this company they had a very rudimentary nventory control/sales managemnet system, they ended up just tracking sales orders but any kind of inventory control.
Now, with CIN7 inventory numbers are up to date, discontinued items are off, purchases are aligned with payables, sales with stock available.
I dont know how expensive it is, however, its worth every penny.
Kenny and the onboarding team were very helpful. They were able to rush us through set up and made understanding a new system very easy. We made the switch to be able to track inventory with serial numbers that we previously could not do with QuickBooks. We implented an online shop and linked it with Cin7 and Kenny was super helpful in helping us get that to a live status.
I would like to see the integration be able to push the orders through a little faster. It has taken up to 30 minutes on an order from the time it gets from Shopify and sits in a to be loaded stage in CIN7. I would also like a way to automate sending invoices for recurring transactions.
We needed a solution that could integrate with shopify and track inventory via IMEI/serial number so we could automate sending out device information to our customers.
I like the simplicity as well as the user guides that are avaiable, not to mention the fantastic customer support team that are always quick to assist with any queries, very easy to implement from a small business standpoint. My company uses it everyday. the vast amount of features are realiable and well used in my company. the integration to other apps is also very easy to implement
The only thing I dislike would have to be having to redo entire SOs for small fixes such as changing a reference

After a detailed evaluation process, we decided to go with Cin7 as our inventory management system. We liked the ease of use, the integration with Xero and Shopify and the initial discovery calls were so positive. We opted to complete the Cin7 Group onboarding course and it was the best decision we could have made. It was delivered in short and effective learning sessions over the course of a few weeks. Our trainer was Sathila - who was deeply knowledgable, friendly and enthusiastic. The course was well constructed and allowed us to hit the ground running. I would highly recommend!

Cin7 is helping us accurately track our inventory levels and is helping us better organise our warehouse. It seemlessly integrates with Shopify and thanks to its Warehouse App - we can now receive goods and fulfil items using a barcode scanner.
Dear systems Cin7 core was deployed as part of a new robust inventory system for our distribution firm where we could acess instantly stock levels sales history and delivery tracking for our customers. In addition, the platform includes a B2B login purchase portal
Its challenging with any system to change, the interface at first is daunting but with a few modifications you are able to change the way that you interface with the GUI, first up I went for horizontal layout so the menus are at the top.
Additional features that you may want are able to be added at a cost in the menu as you enrol more users too.
The package connects to xero for our sales and you have realtime knowledge of stock value and stock on hand and can process a sale practically anywhere being cloud-based. The B2B Portal was a handy add on
I love that everything is linked. We recently had a huge shift in employment, and the person who ran most of operations and purchasing left. Thanks to dear literally tracking The supplier, the product, the sku in our system, the sku in the suppliers system, re-order levels and bill of materials on products, it is extremely easy to track and re-order products.
There are some steps that I feel are excessive or unnecessary, but that could be as much my companie's fault for making those the processes as it is dears for allowing them. Steps that I find redundant are things like having to move the used materials through dear, even though a PO with the items bill of materials was already entered. Also, some functions do not link up and so create a bit of an extra work-around.
While we are unable to track physical inventory in here to cross over to xero, this is an excellent place to try to track as accurately as possible the levels and movement of components and raw materials. We process all orders through here, and have it linked to xero for accounting. Somewhat usable.
We have never looked back since we moved from an internal system - limited by long dev circles.
I would love that they do even more integration with other products.

Responsive tech support. Anitra helped to resolved the issue I had in a quick and clear manner and also advised on possible options to deal with it in the future.
Some obvious and important functions are missing such as "search by item SKU".
The back order cancellation is not easy to find and not obvious unless you reach out to the support or learn the system through and through.
At this stage it is not benefitting but only worsens my everyday work. The transition was done in a rush without enough preparation and therefore some processes are now way more manual than before.
However, the stock management is done nicely. If only people care as much about keeping it up-to-date and there was no bugs saying the stock is not available while it is
