Having experience with similar products through different investment bankers over the years, and several homegrown solutions, we have been exceptionally happy with the clean design, ease-of-use, and focus of the DealRoom product. It does this one thing, really well.
While there are some reporting features, as well as email updates, some additional reporting capabilities would be welcome. However, this does not deter from the use of the product.
Just one: consolidating and organizing the voluminous paperwork required for selling our latest company. It's a great way, working with a geographically dispersed team, to bring together all that documentation in a quick and cohesive way.
PROS: The ease of use is amazing. In in hour you can get used managing all the vdr features, invite people, set permissions etc. Platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Customer support is very helpful. Especially their success manager Julia who helped us to walk through any questions we had.
CONS: Missing Outlook integration
Simple to use, with great screen nearness and run of the mill structure. The association and usability makes it easy to use. This was natural, and simple to simply step directly into. I had no issues, aside from not figuring out how to move records into a transfer line. The inquiry work, when endeavoring to transfer was great. It was not all that not the same as the "standard" that it was hard to make sense of.
I didn't see an approach to move documents for transfer. Other than that, the association and convenience makes it easy to use.
