I love how easy DaySmart Salon booking software is. I'm able to customize as much as I want, I have reports at my fingertips, and I love the online booking feature.
I'd like a widget for phones that shows your appointments for the day or next appointment. I'd also love an Apple Watch app for easier access.
Easy booking software for you and your clients, simple design and layout, headache-free
Scheduling is easier for my clients and I, being able to require a credit card on file has helped prevent last minute changes and no-show clients, as well as preventing fake bookings.

There are a few flaws in the online booking - I end up with alot of duplicate clients. But otherwise it works great!
I have tried other softwares. This one is by far the best and I have used it for 16 years! I can't imagine running my business without it. I also have chair renters that have their own daysmart software on their computer and they love it to. The reports you get are very informative, its easy to record formulas and look up previous history of services, products purchased and amount charged. So much information in this software that I would be lost without it! The other software I tried only caused me headaches and frustration. I feel like this software has thought of everything and just makes my life so much easier! Customer service is great as well. Very helpful and easy to contact.
I love the automatic reminders that go out. It's also very easy to create a mass email or text.The online booking is very convenient for our clients and saves us alot if phone calls.
Very user-friendly for anyone of all ages. The text and email confirmations are a lifesaver. I'm not sure what tools this question is referring to. It's very much a competitive product.
Some of the features need to be more advanced. Everything seems to work as well as suspected.

I love the online booking. It's easy, my clients can fill out forms at home. It makes the check in process faster when they come. We are a busy salon so being quick up front is a plus.
I don't like that packages can't be broken down into payment plans. I can't use them because my clients aren't able to purchase the whole yearly package in one payment.
The best benefit to me is being ale to send a mass text to all of my clients at once instead of calling everyone one by one. I mainly use it for promotion reminders.

that it doesn not auto populate existing clients names/ numbers, that the monthly reports are limited with detail, it often shuts down/logs off mid transaction, most importantly that there is not the ability to create a pop up that prohibits booking a clients without reading the notes such as: do not book , or requires deposit

problems are the ones listed above. Not having the ability to create pop up for clients prior to scheduling their appointment. Lack of details for independent stylsits within monthly reports.
I'm able to keep track of all my clients, their formulas, and all of their history. Not to mention it makes tax time very easy, to just print my reports. Ive used other salon software in the past, and this is by far my favorite!
I'm not sure if I can keep track of my booth renters. Although I might be able to, I just need to call and ask.
I am solving all of my disorganization problems. The software keeps everything organized.
I love this program! Everything I need is all in one app. I really love the text reminders to clients so they always know when they are coming in.
Only thing i don't like is when I'm checking out a client I have to go out of it and look up the client in another section to see when they upcoming appt is.
Check out, formulas, and booking all in one app. I don't have to reach out to a bank or another source for taking credit cards!

I have tried several different salon programs, and Salon Iris / Daysmart is by far the best out there. And a great bonus is the staff. Everyone is so very helpful when we call for support.
