Datto provides great user interface console with easy to use and variety of backups options. It provided roundtrip service which transfer huge amount of data from drive to Datto cloud in few minutes effectively.

Overall experience is good and great backup solution of enterprise support. As compared to other backup solution in market, it's

little bit in expensive side especially for small businesses.

Datto has helping hand for us due to their ease of use and off side replication. It provide best technical support with customer satisfaction and improved performance.

What's to dislike? No, really! There's nothing I don't like about Datto SIRIS!

What I like best about Datto is that it works. Backup and disaster recovery should be boring and when things are working it is. However, when things are not working and you *need* to recover data and restore business operations it rarely is boring. In every case were I have relied on Datto to restore operations it has delivered.

Not much. The pricing for the high end hardware is high, which makes backing up large datasets expensive.

Based in Linux, Datto SIRIS is a very helpful OS that has a super friendly UI for both beginners, and experts. You are seconds away from performing every degree of DR scenario imaginable, from a local file restore, a sandbox VM, or even a full meteor destruction spinup in the cloud!

As a power user, the vendor disables features or revokes backend access to some features with updates. Some helpful features were revoked (such as SNMP) while new features come out without a heads up.

Datto provides free partner training classes. Be sure to take these and become certified for the best use of all the features they provide. Even today, our company only uses the features we need and the client asks. There's SO much more we can provide but just simply don't have the need for at this point in time.

Our fleet of 48 clients use Datto SIRIS devices and we enable full control for our backups to each client with ease.

Datto allows you to create a full image backup, as it allows you to restore virtual machines when a server fails, either to run locally on a backup server or in the cloud. When it comes to reports, Datto performs great as a Backup Report page displaying information by from Screenshots, forced backups and scheduled backups. Actually, the screenshot verification feature is able to capture and restore points created by the relevant agent.

If you choose a smaller Datto device, you may experience overheating on some units, as they don’t have a built-in fan. Also, Datto can have a bad performance if the bandwidth is not good enough, affecting the capacity of the device, because the points marked cannot be removed with retention and backup devices can be charged for this.

Datto is a reliable tool because it includes a great number of business continuity capabilities. The costs faced by every company due to viruses, human error, and problems with servers compared to Datto's costs, are clear. That’s what I think every company with data must have a Datto period.

Datto is our organization tool to support Windows and Linux servers. The products are the easiest to configure and maintain that I have ever used. A single-entry solution for all their products makes it very easy to automate my business. We value Datto especially for its commercial sustainability functions, which allows our clients to be covered and resolve problems they may face in a timely manner when they have a disaster scenario.

The speed of being able to boot up a VM either locally or in the cloud. This is great when needing to test a VM or restore a failed server. We had a client back up and running in 30 minutes after a server died.

Each backup can be configured to boot a VM in the cloud and email a screenshot at the login screen of the server. This is great for troubleshooting any boot issues with the operating system.

The menus can feel a bit cluttered but it's not that big a deal once you get used to where everything is.

They have great support and a great sales team. We have had account managers come to clients sites with us to help show the benefits of the product.

Small business clients are no longer having to swap or take backup media offsite themselves.

Extremely easy to deploy with retention settings available for local and cloud storage independently. Throttling available to adjust the upload to the cloud and easily capable of running multiple backups on each device independent of others.

Problems with the VM and bare metal restore, is failing a lot

The use experience was very good, of course you should have good internet line if you are diverting all users to external data centre.
