We can quickly recieve feedback from our customers and act quickly. A one-click approach allows our customers to respond truthfully without having to go through too much effort (or filling out 12 required questions...)

1. Simplicity - you ask the customer 1 question and all they need to do is to click one of the 4 ratings but can also leave optional feedback if required. You can set the Thermometer to send an email notification as soon as the customer clicks on a rating, you then know how your customer feels instantly and can address any dissatisfaction in real-time
2. Ease of use - creating Thermometers is quick and easy with many customisable features. Sending the thermometers is also easy. You can create many different Thermometers depending on the transaction or event you are seeking feedback on and also have the ability to archive and retrieve archived Thermometers which makes managing your programmes a breeze
3. Support - the Ministry of Magic are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Any question i asked was answered quickly with full details and directions, often giving options that i hadn't considered
4. Reporting - the graphical dashboards on view are amazing and all update in real-time. There is no need to spend time creating graphical reports as these can easily be snipped and used in presentations and the like. The reporting tools and charts also help massively with analysis and counter-measures
5. Flexibility - everything in this tool is flexible and customisable, you can even add tags to your email body that includes specific details of the event or transaction to further personalise the email. The more details you can give to the customer, the less vague any feedback will be and the easier it becomes to resolve any issues. You can create a Thermometer and upload a list of contacts and transaction/event data and send in bulk or you can add the Thermometer icons and hyperlinks to your own email signature and ask for your own personal feedback. The options are endless
I have been using Customer Thermometer for 3 years, leading on the product for my business unit and there are absolutely no negatives. Some people are turned off that you cant ask more than one question but this is not a survey tool and most customers do not want a long list of questions to answer. This product is perfect to get feedback on a single process or a connected set of processes and the customers only have to click one of the rating if they want to. If the customer has clicked on the wrong rating by mistake, they can change their rating and this will be registered and reflected in the dashboards.
This is a must have tool for any customer focused business. By not knowing exactly how your customers feel about the service you provide means that you will have a huge disadvantage in the marketplace. I worked for the largest telecoms company in the UK and the number of departments that we have covering all aspects of telecoms and telephony were vast. Implementing Customer Thermometer into some of the departments was extremely beneficial so that we could identify which of these departments were under-performing and which were excelling. At a more granular level, within these departments, we could also see which transactions were seen by our customers as out of date and not working as they expected. Improvement actions based on customer feedback fitted in perfectly with our Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma programmes as we had physical and actionable feedback based on what we know not what we thought. From the ratings we received, we can identify the happiness factor of our customer base, create a temperature/pulse check score which is a weighted score based on the ratings received and not just the volumes and also an NPS score. We used all of the scoring methods across all of the programmes which was a great way to prove to the business how we were performing over time, backing it up with improvement actions that had been implemented and agreed at a customer level.
We are actually getting feedback now. before CT we had nothing because customers didn't like bulky questionnaires.
Functionality is a bit limited, but they are focused on what they do so it makes sense.
It is great. simply surveys that customers are actually willing to fill out. We have gotten lots of feedback and managed to put out a lot of fires by knowing what our customers are thinking and how they are feeling about the work that we do. It has probably saved us a client or two.

responses seem to time out or double meaning I have to manually delete duplicate responses. It doesn't force the customer to put in a reason when they click a yellow or red light. I would like a way for that to be mandatory so we get more of an opinion.

It's quite common to get false clicks using the system - security software clicks the links leaving fake feedback, so we are not always sure if feedback is real. Customer Thermometer are really supportive with their 'clickblocker' though, which means we can delete false responses and automate the process - this is something we couldn’t solve when reviewing other customer feedback tools
