I prefer Cronycle as my go-to RSS aggregator because it offers some good features to easily add and manage multiple sources. I follow a ton of RSS feeds about programming and development which can be quite overwhelming at times, that’s where Cronycle comes in. Combining multiple RSS feeds all in one place saves me so much time and effort. I also curate my own RSS feeds to share with my team of developers right from within Cronycle.
Sometimes it takes a bit long to load the feeds.
Very rare though
Getting feeds curated from a ton of different RSS sources and sharing it with my team. It used to be quite tedious to share content from each individual RSS feed but Cronycle aggregates them in a single space and makes it easy to share content directly from my boards.
I use Cronycle for individual as well as official use. I can curate content to create my own personalised feeds around the topics I like using solid filters. For official use, it is a great content collaboration platform as it allows contributors to share files, content, and add tags and comments in a single shared collaboration space. Team members working remotely can be notified using mentions which send different channel notifications and discussions can be done across teams on content. I can efficiently work my team to push out weekly internal newsletters and content in social media posts. I highly recommend it to anyone who works with digital content, it will definitely save you a lot of time.
Working with teams that have 10+ members can only be done in the enterprise plan.
Cronycle is easy to recommend as it is a platform that suits everyone's needs. It replaces all other content curation and collaboration tools into a single platform. A 110% recommend!
I found it difficult to collaborate with team members working remotely and had to wait for approval emails which is inefficient. Cronycle makes it really convenient and helps me save a lot of time to act on content in a shared collaboration space.
Cronycle helped me discover numerous interesting new sources of content specific to my domain. It has automatic pre-curated topics which makes it super convenient to get started with content discovery quickly. Now I curate my own feeds from all the sources I have curated over time and have added advanced filters for my personal as well as professional needs. This platform has saved me a lot of time for all my content marketing activities!
Being an android user, I end up using often on the mobile with a responsive view. Not the best of experience, so an Android app would make life smooth!
I have to curate content to be pushed out daily across multiple social media handles for our e-commerce website. Discovering trending content across sustainable fashion, sustainable cosmetics, online shopping behavior, and any range of curated products we add is a tough work and time consuming. Cronycle really helps me accelerate that part and improve efficiency manifold.
Among other readers, Croncyle works the best. It has all the capabilities of an RSS reader that allows you to add custom RSS feeds and also twitter handles. It allows you to share that information with your team or friends through collaborating on feeds and sharing article boards with them. It has the same but better capabilities as Feedly with the file and information sharing features of Evernote.
A recommendation from my side!
Can use some visual improvements, i believe.
In comparison to it's competitors, it works well for me. The best and suitable reader.
I was using multiple tools for personal reading, had a couple of Google Alerts set for work-related industry tracking news that was going into multiple emails, a few newsletters bombarding inbox and then casual interest-specific reading and marketing news around Ad Sales in India. With Cronycle, I can aggregate all the content into one. It also acts as a Great Google Alert Alternative, as I can convert them into RSS and subscribe here. My newsletters are now subscribed on the same platform as well.
Probably amongst the best apps out there for combining content from all sources into one.
No Android app. Settings section for adding/rejecting influencers as sources in a topic isn't easily discoverable.
I have close to 10 Indian Media related newsletters which were earlier coming in my email. I also have Google alerts set for campaigns in regional markets (earlier Tamil, Now Bihar market) by various brands.
Outside of this, I regularly read articles which I was earlier discovering via LinkedIn/Twitter and Reddit.
With Cronycle, I am able to get and save all of them in the same platform, mark the ones I like, and want to refer again separately, add notes and annotations, in almost 80% less time than earlier. Plus I don't have to track 20 different emails on a daily basis.
It's also super useful if I have to visit any of the old articles again and search for it, or recall my notes.
Cronycle is a critical tool for any marketing team that needs to find good quality content to share. The responsive support makes the experience even better.
It doesn't have PPC or SEO support for hardcore marketers.
Connecting effortlessly with countless news sites, magazines and social media accounts.
