The ideal E-procurement solution
Coupa makes automating approvals for purchasing and inventory management easy.
The bulk upload CSV templates are not intuitive and very sensitive to minor errors in data. I wish there was a better way to do bulk uploads for various sections in the system.

Coupa is your lifeboat if you're drowning in a sea of paper receipts and complicated expense reports. It will save your sanity, no joke! The app's interface makes recording business expenses feel more like a conversation with an old friend than a chore. What about getting permission? Quick as a flash! There will be no more late-night math thanks to the accounting software's smooth integration. With Coupa, previously difficult tasks become child's play. An absolute must-read!
Late responses in customer services because even if they solve a query, they take a lot of time to process it. If they improve it in the future, it is the best.
Coupa for Travel & Expense solved several of my problems. First, it automates expense tracking, eliminating the hassle of losing paper receipts or making mistakes. What used to take days is now a snap to approve. Its built-in compliance checks reassure me that I'm following company policies. It's freed up my time and mental energy, letting me focus on my job's priorities.
We can process payments straight out of Coupa, issue Virtual cards, easily see invoices. There is a lot of capabilities and system connections that can be made with Coupa.
We are still trying to figure out how to configures roles/users so that each user has access to what they need, but not too much. For example, Payment approver/releaser should be able to see the invoices, but not be an invoice approver (and get all those notifications). I know this is all configurable in Coupa, but adjusting these things is taking time.

PROS: Procuring of company supplies doesn't have to be as complicated as before. What I like about Coupa is that it's structured similarly to an online shopping site, thus making it easier for employees to shop for what they need. It gives you a detailed comparison of your purchases on behalf of the company to have better visibility and control of its expenditures.
CONS: I realized that not all features are created to be user friendly. Some suppliers told me that they're having challenges in terms of submitting proposals or quotations through the platform. So what they do instead is send it through email or fax. I'm hoping that Coupa could simplify this particular process. I want all procurement transactions to be done through the platform because everything should be organized and systematic.

I can easily order what our company needs. I type the items on the search bar, and it will automatically give me multiple options. It's like shopping in Amazon, swift, efficient, and accurate.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
They need to upgrade some of their features, specifically the smartphone application, because I can only do minimal tasks. I am looking forward to seeing some changes in the future.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Procurement made easier plus employees are empowered to make individual purchases by merely logging into the platform. With Coupa, I feel that I'm more productive by being able to focus on other things that require my attention.

Taking charge of procurement with hundreds of vendors used to be very overwhelming for me. Coupa helped me create a system that works for the majority of the employees.

PROS: One of the best things that I appreciate about Coupa is its flexibility. Imagine the amount of workload that I have to deal with daily, and there are times that I have to bring some of my workloads at home. I am thankful that Coupa has remote and mobile access which is not being offered in other procurement software. Its functionality is way above average plus we were able to adapt to the system because we were able to customize it by using our terminologies and applying some of our existing methods as well. I bought this product online and called their support team to help me install Coupa on both my laptop and mobile phone, and I am good to go. Also, I started keeping receipt, invoices and other data within the software because I feel more secure that I won't get lost or stolen as compared to filing them manually which is quite cumbersome and risky. With Coupa, I do not have to go through piles of email requests each day and make multiple follow-ups. I can easily view your pending POs, order status, payments and much more. Everything I need is available right in front of me. I can meet clients at a coffee shop, approve requests and process account payables in just one sitting.
CONS: There is nothing to complain about the product. I appreciate using it because the one that I had before has given me a lot of headaches. I'm contented with Coupa, and I'm willing to share my wonderful experience with other people.
